The Color That Rainbows Forgot

"What are we doing in Nebraska again?" Jason whines looking up at the stars. "We are looking for some Demigods who have been stirring up some trouble with the monsters." Annabeth explains. Piper complains "Why didn't all of us come then instead of just the four of us?".
The moonlight reflects off annabeth's face as she turns and frowns "Because we don't plan on fighting and large groups are more intimidating." Clearly Piper sensed Annabeth's irritation because she backed down without a word. Annabeth turns and points to a brick high school building and mutters "That's where they go to school. We should stay somewhere nearby and wait for them in the morning." Her face shows her exhaustion.
"What are we? Stalkers?" Jason giggles. "For the time being yes." I shoot back. "Oh ok at least we're honest stalkers." He grins before continuing "Why are we here I mean I know they have trouble with monsters but is that really our problem." . Annabeth tiredly explains "We aren't here because of that we're here because of how powerful they are and who their godly parents are.". "And?" Jason continues to prod. "Yea I would like know too." Piper butts in.
"Fine." Annabeth sighs sitting her bag down on the concrete sidewalk. "One of the single handedly took out a Minotaur yesterday without breaking a sweat. This was a son of Nyx. The other is a son of Phanes. There are step-sisters who are unaware of being children of gods that we are to also bring for their personal safety."
Jason's eyebrows knit as he questions "I thought primordial beings couldn't have mortal children?". "Yea me either." Annabeth looks upset over her own ignorance. "Well we'd better find a place to stay." Piper suggest.

"I know school starts early, but why are we up at 6 A.M.?" I yawn. "I know you didn't wake me to look at the sunrise." Jason chuckles. "Nope I woke you up because there's our target." She says pointing to a boy with pitch black hair, a jet black hoodie, black jeans, and black converses. Definitely a son of the goddess of darkness.
