The life of Kara Beckham

Stella climbed into the chariot. As the woman flicked the reigns, she introduced herself. "My name is Annabeth Jackson. I assume that you two already know that you are demigods?" she said. Stella and I just nodded our heads silently as my eyes wandered to the ring on her left hand. She continued talking. "Hopefully as soon as we get to camp you're godly parents will claim you." she said. Stella looked confused. "How will we know when our parents claim us?" she asked. "Most likely a symbol will appear above your head. For me, it was an owl. For my husband, Percy," she held up her wedding ring "it was a trident. I am a daughter of Athena. Percy is a son of Poseidon." she said. "We should be getting there soon. When we get there, I will take you to meet the camp director and the activities director." she stated.
When we arrived at Camp Half-Blood, we were taken to a large house with faded blue paint. Sitting on the front porch was a man in a wheelchair. "Kara, Stella, meet Chiron, our camp activities director." said Annabeth. "Wait, are you THE Chiron?" Stella asked eyes wide with admiration. Did I mention that Stella is a HUGE Greek mythology geek? Anyways, back to the story. "Yes I am, Stella." he said calmly in reply. "But I thought that you were a cen- oh." Stella said as Chiron stepped out of the wheelchair to reveal his lower half was indeed a horse. "Now, don't let me keep you. You are probably eager to meet the camp director." said Chiron quickly said. For some reason, I felt like the director would be a total jerk even though I had never been here before. As we walked into the room, I saw a man probably about Annabeth's age. He introduced himself. "My name is Percy Jackson." he said. That is the last thing I remember before I blacked out.
