All Is Fair In Love And Friends

Lucas sat up on his bed in a cold sweat. He was panting heavily and his skin felt clammy. He had a nightmare, but he couldn't remember what was in it. He slumped back on his pillows, but sleep wouldn't meet his eyes. He was wide awake.
Lucas looked over at the window. He saw as the sun slowly inched over the horizon, bathing Camp Half Blood in a soft pink and orange glow.
He remembered the day when he watched the sunrise. The same day he kissed Riley for the first time, the same day she slipped into a coma.
His heart clenched.
Riley.
It had been two months since she died. Camp was slowly getting over her death. But Lucas knew better. Riley was going to come back. She made an oath, a sacred oath on the River Styx. She swore on the River Lethe that she wouldn't forget them, that she would come back.
The Sun was past the treeline by then. The sky was melting from pink to light blue.
Lucas listened. Cabin Three was still, but Lucas was waiting, waiting for the few words that were whispered to him at sunrise by Riley.
Sure enough, they came, but they were different this time.

Lucas, she whispered.
Lucas.
Come find me.
Beneath the empire.
When the time is right.
Blackfyre Eden...
Will determine my fate.
Come find me.
I love you.
Lucas.

Lucas was startled. She mentioned something about Blackfyre Eden. But that wasn't what shook him. Riley had asked him to find her. That meant she was alive!
Blackfyre Eden....
Blackfyre Eden.
The prophecy!

.....Blackfyre Eden shall be the bane....
.....When the chance of no war shall wane....
.....A single oath shall determine her fate....
.....The destiny of the gods depends on her flame....

A single oath....shall determine her fate.
A single oath.
Oh gods.
Riley's oath.

She WAS the child of the Prophecy.
Lucas recited the prophecy in his head.

The eldest child of Wisdom and Waves,
Shall preserve Olympus or raze.
Blackfyre Eden shall be the bane,
When the chance of no war shall wane.
The Hammer and Fore Seeker shall pave the trail,
Before the foes of Olympus prevail.
A single oath shall determine her fate,
The destiny of the gods depends on her flame.

Hammer...Fore Seeker.
Oh gods.
The hammer was the sign of Hephaestus...
That meant Lucas was in the prophecy too.
Fore Seeker.....someone who can see the future.
The Oracle.
Jasmine.

Lucas felt his skin pale.
Riley wasn't the only one who had a part to play in the new Great Prophecy.
Oh gods.
