An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth

I was just walking by the Big House, when I happened to hear Chiron and Mr.D talking. "-it's all we need." Chiron was saying. "And where exactly are we going to find peace?" Mr.D asked. Peace. I stopped dead in my tracks. Thinking, wasn't there a goddess of peace? Irene? Pushing that thought to the back of my mind, I quickly walked away.


***one hour later***


Having no other place to go, I went to the Underworld. Awhile later, after I had cooled down, I decided to go to New Rome and ask Reyna about it. She was bound to know.


***in New Rome***


"Reyna, do you know anything about the goddess of peace?" I asked. "Of course I do," Reyna replied. "Pax is the Roman Goddess of peace. She's minor goddess. And her Greek form would be Irene." "Uh-huh, thanks Reyna." I said, absently. "Anytime," Reyna said. Turning back to go into the underworld, I saw Hazel and Frank. Hoping to get away unspotted, I quickly turned away. No luck. "Hey,Nico!" Hazel said, walking my way. " Hi," I said. "What are you doing here?" Frank asked. "Just coming in and out." I said. "What are you guys doing?" "Just having fun." Hazel replied. "And just what do you think you're doing with a weapon inside the city borders?" a mortified Terminus asked me. " Oh, sorry, I was just leaving." I said. "Bye," "Bye, Nico!" Hazel shrieked. "Bye." Frank said right before I shadow travled into the Underworld.


Back in the Underworld, I had accidentally bumped into the spirit of a young, teenage girl about my age whom seemed surprisingly solid for a spirit. "I'm sorry," I apologized. "No, it's okay," the girl said. "I'm Chloe, Chloe Rex." Nico de Angelo." I said. "What are you doing here?" she asked. She must have been using charmspeak or something because I told her everything from Percy Jackson to peace. At the end of my story, Chloe frowned and said sympathetically, "Oh, i'm sorry, but I have to admit a lot of that stuff happenned to me to. So, that's why I decided to end it." "By killing yourself," I said. Chloe nodded. "Now, for my story,"
