I wake up to the sunset and the horn signaling dinner my stomach grumbles I slept through the entire day. I sit up and walk to my cabin. It's got a green tinge because of the torches. I pass my coffin shaped bed and walk into the bathroom which only has one large mirror I look at my reflection. My blue hair is stuck to my face and the swelling in my eyes has barely gone down. I walk to my bed and lay down even though I am starving I can't go to dinner with my eye like this. I get a book from under my bed. I look at the cover 'May Bird' I read. My favorite "good choice " I say out loud to myself. But instead of opening it I lay down on my bed and cry. I stay there for what seems like forever just crying when I hear a footsteps. I shoot up my face drenched in tears to see Nico. I wipe my face and sit up just stareing tears still dripping down my cheeks. He is like my roll model the brother I never had he is a lot like me I don't want him to see me like this but he wouldn't do anything about it anyway he is quiet and secluded like me I have yet to meet Hazel. I stand up and start to walk out he does the last thing I expects and grabs my shoulder. He takes me into a hug. I haven't been huged in years I seem to melt in his shoulders. Me and him sit down he pushes my blue wet hair out of my face and sees my black eye. His facial expression seems to change at the drop of a hat to angry. I stare down at the obsiden floor. "Who did this" his voice is protective like a big brother.
"It was an accident I hit my eye in the for- shower. " I almost say Forest. I don't want anyone to know about my secret stream. He stares at me for the longest time and I want to tell him everything. But for some reason I don't. He hugs me one last time them walks out. I sit for a while reading. It's late Nico is probably spending the night at his boyfriends. I hear the door creak and pretend to be sleeping. I hear footsteps walk next to my bed and I feel someone shake my shoulder. I look up to see Jen Ty And John standing around me I smile when I see them and what they're holding. Toilet paper several bags.
