The Tool Boy's Return

"Maybe we should IM Percy and Annabeth, I miss them." Piper suggested. We were sitting on top of Cabin 1. It was about 4:30, which meant it was about 12:30 in San Fransisco.

"Alright then. Come down, Beauty Queen." I said while using the winds to take her and me down with my powers. I made her float down into my arms. She giggled. I leaned in for a kiss and she gladly complied.

"C'mon Sparky. Race you to the beach!" She said leaping out. She landed on her feet running. I stared at her, dumbfounded, for a few seconds and then raced after her. I would like to say I caught up with ease, but dang that girl is fast. She beat me by a mile.

We both collapsed on the sand, laughing. "Not running form monsters 24/7 got you out of shape!" She said poking my stomach. "Hey, hey! That tickles!" I said in between laughs. "You bring a drachma?"she asked, stopping. "Uhhh... Lemme check." I said, rummaging through my pockets. I pulled out a stick of gum, a paperclip, a few lintballs, and finally, one golden drachma. We waited for a nice spray from the waves crashing and I said "O Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering" Tossing it into the spray that had quickly reacted to the sunlight. "Percy Jackson, Camp Jupiter." I said as it dissapeared.

In our suprise, eveeryone was in Percy's appartment. Annabeth, Percy(Obviously), Hazel, Frank, and even Reyna. They were at the sink, trying to get a mist. "Um hey guys." Piper said, making everyone jump. Annabeth quickly spinned around. "Oh! We were just trying to call you!" She said, excited. "IT'S ABOUT LEO!!" Percy screamed. There was a very akward silence after that. He sulked to the back of the room.

"Wait, What about Leo?" Piper said, obiously happy. "Percy got this package today in the middle of class! Look at the parachute!" Annabeth said, pointing to the flame embroidery. I immedietly thought of a way to get there. "Shadow travel!" I blurted. "Of course! I could get Mrs. O'Leary, maybe Nico-" Percy said listing out ideas. Hazel cut him off. "I can!" She said excitedly. Frank looked confused. " Is that what-" Hazel cut him off. "In my spare time? Yes. I have bee practicing with Nico. Here I come!" She shouted. Then she dissapeared.

She popped up behind us. "Hold on!" She said grabbing us. It was so cold. And dark. Not my style. The next second we were in Percy's appartment. "Whew, I feel kinda dizzy after that one." HAzel said swaying back and forth. Frank grabbed her and pulled her over to the couch. "Well, now that we're all here, let's open it!" Percy said, snatching up the box. "Here we go!" He said with a wild look in his eyes. When he opened it it up, there was a note covering up the rest of the stuff.

"OPEN IT! THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!" Piper shouted. She must have been using charmspeak, because Percy fumbled to open it as quickly as he could. Here is what it said:

This is the supreme commander. Now, Miss you guys, I am alive. I can't believe you guys! 2 years, and you never give Uncle Leo an IM? What's wtrong with you! Well, here's your chance.

When Percy read the letter aloud, he imedietly fumbled to pull out the rest of the contents. There was a spray bottle and a golden drachma. We all bolted up and sprinted to the window to get some sun while Percy filled up the bottle.
"O Fleecy, do me a solid. Leo Valdez, um, where ever he is." Percy said While Annabeth pumped the handle.

The rainbow shimmered, and we were looking at a latino boy with a goofy grin. "Hey-yo!" He said, stuffing his face with lots of junk food.
