Fangirls

Chelsea's POV

"You mean to say that, you, the seven demigods, saviors of Olympus, need our help?" Sadie asks her chin literally dropping to the floor.

"Yes we do." Percy says with a sly smile and Leo furiously nodding his head in the background.

"It's top secret though, we can't tell you until we absolutely need too." Percy says and I have no clue what to do. Is this some version of a new comedy show with excellent special effects? Or are Percy Jackson and Leo Valdez actually asking Sadie and I for our help?

Not really believing the jokers I pick up the compass on my desk and start twirling it in my fingers. Focusing on the sharp point of it, making sure not to touch it.

Sadie lets out a small fan-girly gasp and I watch stunned as she promptly faints, hitting the floor with a soft thud.

My mouth drops open as a dark haired boy I recognise to be as Nico shadow travels into the picture and gently picks Sadie up. He the turns to the iris message and looks at me.

"I'll come for you next." He says in a deep voice which was totally not how I imagined Nico. Then he shadow travels away and the iris message drops away.

I stand there still trying to process what in hades just happened. I pinch myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming--and sigh in exasperation or excitement, I'm not really sure--when I stay standing there.

Oh my gods. I think I'm going crazy, I'm seeing things. I need to call a doctor. I think to myself getting out of my desk chair and searching frantically for the phone book.

"Chelsea, you're not going crazy, just purely in shock." The same deep voice from before comes from behind me. I spin around in a shock and grab the compass again and hold it out in front of me.

Oh great going Chelsea, I thought. Threaten the scary goth guy with your math homework.

"Chelsea, listen to me, this is just your endorphins kicking in, when a fangirl discovers a 'miracle' this is their natural reaction..or to pass out like Sara." He says and I slowly lower the compass and let him take my arm.

"Close your eyes, focus on something, try not to get whiplash." He says too fast for me to comprehend.

"What?" I ask confused.

"W H I P L A S H." He says stretching the word out.

"Hey stop quoting Quicksliver, that's the wrong fandom." I scold as Nico rolls his eyes and we suddenly get pulled into a dark vortex. I'm not whether to scream, cry, yell or be happy but basically it was a very weird experience.

We exit the dark vortex and I stumble and fall out of Nico's grasp. I tumble onto the floor and frown.

That sorta hurt.

I look up and gulp. All around me camp is in action. I see sword fighting classes going on, the lava running down the rock climbing wall, archers hitting targets, rows of cabins that line the camp.

"Chelsea!" I hear a loud girls voice scream from behind me. I spin around to see Sadie running up to me.

"Sadie!" I call back. Wow I never thought I'd actually get to meet her!

"Isn't this place amazing?!" She laughs in delight. Her bright eyes flash with happiness. Her hair was very messy, probably from the fall. Obviously she got over the shock already.

"Yes! This is a dream come true!" I tell her excitedly. At this point I don't really care if this is a prank or not because this place is actually a dream come true for a Fangirl like me.

"We have to see everything, try everything, meet everyone!" She yells in delight. I nod my head in agreement,

"Hey Sadie-" I start before she cuts me off.

"My real name isn't-" She starts before someone else cuts her off.

"Girls!" The voice calls. I turn too see the real Percy Jackson standing like three feet away from me, he's holding Annabeth's hand and smiling his signature troublemaker smile.

"Let's give you a tour."
