Fangirls

After waking up at Five A.M to do three intense hours of training before breakfast, I was shattered. It's been three days of the same thing since our first training sessions. I had been for the longest run I've ever been on because seriously who runs for fun? Not ne anyway. But I couldn't stop because Frank would just tell me to hurry up again and boy, he can be scary.

Then we moved on to some more hand to hand fighting techniques. Frank kept quoting some Japanese/Chinese Zen master of Ninjas or something. He won't let me pick up another sword or bow unless, and I quote, "get the feel of the weapon, be in tune with yourself." Now I'm starting to think that I should have chosen Percy as my mentor.

I do think that he's really helping but I just don't want to believe it because I just want to learn to fight with the weapons. Making me run for couple of hours won't help me fight off our enemies. Plus I have a short attention span so there is no way that I would run away without doing anything. Next time he gets me to run, I might just run away instead.

Sara has been working hard with Annabeth and her knife and she's progressing really well and then there's me who hasn't touched a single weapon! Can't Frank see that?!

Chiron and Rachel have been spending a lot of the last three days together, trying to figure out what Sara and I are or have. They so far haven't found much but they told us to keep practicing our skill because something might show up in them about our non-mortal-ish qualities.

Right now though breakfast is my best friend. I'm so hungry after my morning trainings with Frank. We still sit with the Seven and today I fill my bowl up with Lucky Charms as usual and I see Frank staring at it. I glare at him and he takes the bowl away from me.

"Hey!" I protest. "What gives?"

"This is not good for your training, you are unfit, eat healthy!" He says calmly and the other people around start to cover up their snickers.

"Yea well how can I be unfit? Before I came here I was a competitive swimmer who could swim 100 Butterfly in 1:13, tell me thats not fast," I argue back, "Plus I can't live without my Lucky Charms, you're lucky I'm cutting out coffee!" This jz so unfair!

"Well that means you are fit in the water but like I once said to Percy, you can't fight all your enemies in the water." He says still so calmly. I pout and try to think of a comeback but I can't.

"Your Face." I say smartly.

They all look at ne confused.

"What type of comeback is that?" Leo asks me with a grin.

"Your face." I retort and everyone else starts laughing.

"I guess it is pretty funny." Percy laughs. Well duh, I said it. Lol just kidding. Last year my class voted me as the most likely to become a stand up comedian. Funny how they never voted me as most likely to find myself in my own dreams. (That went to one of my friends who, like me, always has her nose in a book and is forever dreaming of other worlds.)

"Anyway, you can eat this," Frank replaces my Lucky Charms with a bowl of fruit salad. "It has mango in it." He says and I pump my fist,

"Yes! Mango is my favorite!" Mango is the best fruit in the whole world! There is literally no way to describe the heavenly taste. "Ok, I guess I will eat this then." I pull the bowl towards me and dig in.

"Chelsea! Sara! Come quick!" A loud voice commands us I feel obligated to follow. I follow the voice and find myself in front of Piper.

I roll my eyes. Of course. Charmspeak. What fun.

"Whadda you want?" I drawl out.

"Well I was hoping you two could help me with something." She says with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes and I wonder what she wants.
