Revenge For Those Who Fell

I watched Selene fall into The Pit. I fell to my knees I could hear laughing and screaming. I looked up to see Artemis laughing as my wife fell into The Pit. I got off the ground and looked at Artemis I saw her pale and felt her fear empower me.

"Y-y" my voice was shaking not with fear but power "Artemis you will pay IF I find my wife and CHILD DEAD! this I swear on the river of Styx!" I yell at her before jumping into the pit. I used my smoke powers to shoot myself faster towards the bottom. I reached the bottom but she wasn't there. I searched for days months years I don't even know. The day I found her was the day my heart broke. I found her hanged by a noose her body burned to a crisp a face of pure horror dawned on her. I yelled to the roof of Tartarus in agony.

"Th-They will pay Selene I tell you they will" I whisper to my wife's body.

I woke from my dream gasping for air. It was a dream of what happened to Selene. I got off the bed I was staying at a hotel after I attacked the camp. I walked over to the closet and pulled a red check shirt and a grey jacket. I also grabbed my denim vest. I also grabbed a pair of jeans. I put on the clothes then walked over to my night stand and picked up the celestial bronze chain I used as a weapon. At the camp I just wanted to show off. Then I headed to the door and and put on my sneakers and red beanie I was about to leave when I heard a door slam down the hall. I also heard a voice. Her voice. Artemis was tasked with searching for me I guess. I stepped back and got into a battle stance I heard a knock.

"Excuse me anyone in there" A girl asked outside.

"Yes come in" I say mimicking a girls voice. The door opens "Looking for lil old me?" I ask smirking as I let the chain hit the ground and start slashing at the hunter.

"Mi Lady we found him!" she yells out before my chain hits her shoulder I hear a crack as their bone snaps she screams in pain I hit her again on the top of the head. Her lifeless body hits the ground with a thud. I run out the door and look to the left to see hunters running at me screaming insults to my right same thing.

"This will be fun" I say before holding my hands out towards both hunters gathering a ball of smoke in each hand. "Its time for a party girls" I say before launching the smoke at them they all get blasted back from me. "Thinning the herd" I mutter. Then she came the she devil that killed Selene.

"Impressive Delsin" Artemis says to me.

"I don't break promises" I say spitting in her direction.

"That was not nice" she says wiggling her finger at me I smirk.

"So pushing my beloved into The Pit was!" I yell at her.

"I think so" she says shrugging acting like it didn't matter I felt my rage heighten then I remember what Selene always told me rage is a wildfire anger is a spark. I channeled my anger into energy.

"Bad choice of words" I say walking towards her she smiles and pulls out her hunting knifes and charges with the grace of a deer just like Selene my mind instantly thought. I let my chain fall to the ground whilst I drag it with me. I was walking. Artemis was in full sprint. She was upon me and thought she won already. Damn can people be wrong she slashed at my neck I stepped back and slashed my chain she barely dodged. "When you spend years in the pit you learn a few tricks" I say before sprinting at her she lunges at me put I turned into smoke and went around her body and reformed behind her. "Oooo so close" I mock her she turns to me shocked.

"How did you do this male!" she demands I smile.

"I Just explained it didn't I? Oh and this" I say before lighting my chain on fire so that when I slashed it would hurt a lot more and leave an awesome smoke trail. She just gaped at my abilities I slashed at her again she held up her knife to deflect it. Another mistake. As my chain made contact with her hunting knife it lit the knife on fire as well as the top part of the chain still hit her side. Artemis yelped in pain and fell to the ground. "Not today Artemis today is not the day nor the place" I say before running back to my room and sprinting out the window shattering it and jumping into the morning sun.

Percy's POV

Aphrodite finished her story. I looked at the Olympians then noticed Athena was not in her throne. I look around the room to find her. I find her on the ground next to another cart near me with a body bag on it. I sit up groaning and look into the body bag. I wish I didn't. In the bag was the dead body of Annabeth Chase.
