The Demon's Lullaby

"Why did that happen?" Annabeth asked. "The card didn't lose its power when Rachel used it back at camp." Then an icy, fatherly voice replied.
"It's because of me, demigod." It said.
"Who are you?! Show yourself!" Jason drew his Glacius when it flew away from his hand.
"Ah. Demigod, you're Imperial gold toothpick will never defeat me." Its voice made my eyes droopy. Christian lighted the room but we didn't see anyone.
"No power can defeat me. No power can see me. But all of you can witness the end of this world!" Its rage echoed in the whole room, causing monsters to attack us. Annabeth and I drew our Celestial bronze daggers, Piper drew her Katoptris, the Apollo kiddos made some annoying sound. Lightning broke the sky. It struck our ship which led the monsters- and almost us- to death. We thought the battle was over, but more monsters came and a soothing sound filled the room. It made my eyes drop and before I drifted to the dark oblivion, I saw the others fell into the floor, with the same feeling I'm feeling.
