...but let me tell you, that I think I've got the weirder bunch of friends.

Oh really Magnus, what kinds of friends has you been hanging around with?

Well I've got this one friend, Blitz, he is a svartalf and son of Freya. He has an implacable fashion sense and can craft fine metals into clothes. He turns into stone if he's out in the sun too long.

Pretty interesting, but my boyfriend's brother is a cyclops. He is really tall with a giant eye in the middle of his forehead. He works in Poseidon's underwater workshops but Briares, a giant with literally 100 hands.

I'm old enough to have a boyfriend, jeez Magnus. But we can talk about him later... you were talking about your "weirder friends"

Well, my other closest friend is an elf from Alfhiem named Hearthstone. He is deaf and his parents hated him for it, but that made him able to learn rune magic from the letters of creation.

So noted, he sounds like a great guy. Let me tell you about my friend Grover. He's a satyr, goat from the waist down and he has little goat horns. He can do nature magic by playing on his reed pipes. He was named a Protector of the Wild when he attended Pan, the dying god of the natural world.

Hmm... *under breath* I'm running out of friends here... I know... I'm friends with a goat. His name is Otis and he dies and is eaten every day, but he always comes back to life. He's crazy talkative.

Percy and I once rescued Bessie, the Ophiotaurus. If he was sacrificed and his entrails were burnt, the gods would fall from Olympus and be destroyed.

Ok, maybe that is pretty weird. Anyway about this Percy guy, is he your boyfriend?
