Mind games

We sat in the dungion. We were slaves to Blackbeard we had to do whatever he and his crew told me to do if we didnt comply we got whipped and it wasnt pretty. We looked around the dark dungion it was damp. There was the constant drip drip drip of water, the skuttled of rats on the floor, the creak of the ship as it sliced through the surf, the ship rocked gently back and fourth all this would have been pretty peaceful scene(besides the rats) we sat alone curled up on the floor trying to keep calm and stay quiet. Suddenly a bright light flashed we sheilded our eyes i blinked repeadedly and then slowly looked back. Two men stood there looking at us our chains were gone. We looked warily at them huddled up together trying to seem small. "Who are you?" I asked my voice was hoarse and gravly. One of the men stepped forward he had a trident he had tan skin and black hair. "I am a freind ive come to take you to your new home." The man said i looked at Leo his eyes were wide with fear he was holding my hand i gripped his hand tightly. The surfer man took my hand and hoisted me up Leo was scooped into the other mans arms. Leo suddenly froze. "W-What about Sam? Will we be going together?" The men shared a look. "No but you will see each other again." We looked at each other with tear stained eyes one last time.
