Wizards At Camp Half Blood ((Book Two)On Hold)

Harry's POV,

When I think of America, I think about cheeseburgers as big as dinner plates and bad soap operas. I thought that all Americans had Texas accents and liked everything big, including their ego. Basically, I thought that the British were better. Now that I'm in the middle of Camp Half-Blood, I see that not quite all of that is true. The teenagers here are young and free, they spend their time training to save the world even though they could easily choose not too and sit around watching bad soap operas. They do like things big though, they have the big house and a massive lava flowing climbing wall-- which I can't wait to try out!-- Basically this isn't what I expected.

"So, Harry, What do you think?" Percy questions walking up to me.

"Well, American's aren't actually Bloody Idiots like I believed." I state bluntly with a half smile.

"I'll take that as a compliment," Percy replies. "So, bunks have been set up in my cabin for the four of you, the girls are already in there with Annabeth and The Gods only know where Ron got off to." He states.

"Probably to the water nymphs." I shrug.

"Hermione won't like that." Percy says turning away to the Poseidon cabin.

"What she doesn't know, won't hurt her." I follow Percy to his cabin.

When we get there I see that Ron is nowhere to be seen and the girls are sitting on a bottom bunk talking about whatever girls talk about.

When Percy and Annabeth invited us to stay in America for the summer after school ended, the four of us were eastic! None of us had been to America before and it seemed like a real opportunity. A time to lay low, have a little fun. Learn some different cultures and just have a good time!

Annabeth promised the girls, she'd take them on a girly tour thing, something call a spa day and to get 'shit-faced', Personally, I wouldn't want my face covered in poop. Though it's Probably just some weird American slang.

Percy told Ron and I that he would give us, 'the great all American Food Tour' I think Ron almost got to over excited hearing that.

A loud alarm rings through the camp and Percy jumps up shouting one word, "Dinner!"

"Campers, as most of you know, Percy and Annabeth traveled to England earlier this year where they discovered wizards. They fought in the Demi-wizard war. Most of you saw the picture of Harry and Percy holding a severed Voldemort's head and during that war, Tartarus himself was also killed. So it is to my extreme pleasure to welcome to camp, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron and Ginny Weasley!" Chiron announces and the campers burst into applause.

And then we dig in.
