"-of this team are; Alec Jenkins, David Banner, and Eliza Rush. Please wish them good luck and may the gods be with you all."
"Damnit!"

My ears perked up at the sound of my name, smiling. It was an obvious choice really, being one of the only Demititans at camp I had to go out and look for others. I looked over at Alec, my best friend here who, of coarse, was looking at Eliza, the exchange kid from Camp Jupiter. I laughed to myself, shaking my head. Jenkins was love struck, even if he couldn't admit it to himself. I stood up, speaking up amongst the crowd. "Chiron, if I can, I'd like to head up this quest!"

"I was hoping you'd offer David. Alright, you Eliza and Alec shall take the Argo II and set out tomorrow."
I smiled, nodding. I looked back over at Alec who, for once, was looking at me instead of Eliza. "Alright. Tomorrow morning, we head out."

Later that night I was in my cabin, packing up some suitcases for the trip ahead. "Think of it Clio, finally getting to meet other Demititans!" I said to my roommate Clio, the daughter of Eos.
"Hey, just be careful out there. Not every Demititan is as nice as we are."

"I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt."

"Yes well, doesn't mean we always should. I mean, not all Demititans are just gonna glow and be chill with everyone." She said, making her hand glow white. Clio looked back at her book, almost dismissively, "Some are going to be more powerful than us."

"I don't care what you say, your powers are awesome, I'm jealous."
"You can fly and make your eyes glow!"

"You can make everything glow. Way cooler if you ask me." I said dismissively hiding the fact that it was enjoyable for me to annoy her. She made it so easy though, I just couldn't help myself. She rolled her eyes at me, face glowing pink. Literally.

"Look Clio, it's gonna be fine. First we're gonna head over to Camp Jupiter and get some information from the praetors, then we'll go from there. Easy peasy."

"Who says easy peasy?"

"I do. Deal with it. You'd better keep the cabin clean while I'm gone, I don't wanna come home to a mess."

"This is all your junk!" She whined, gesturing the the random piles of clothes, trash and wrappers.

"I know, but you do such a better job of cleaning it then I do." I said sweetly, trying to get out of doing the work myself. Hey, don't you judge me, it was my cabin first and it was like this all the time before she got here. I'm used to a mess, so sue me. 
She glared at me from her bunk, sitting cross legged.
"This will be even messier when you get back, I swear."

"You'll come around. I've got to get some rest, big day tomorrow. Goodnight." I turned off the lights, climbing into my bed.

"Night Dave..."

Now, little something about us half-bloods. Sleeping isn't exactly blissful right before a quest.

My eyes slowly opened to what looked kinda like a throne room. Huge columns rose up from the floor, supporting the roof above with scenes of carnage painted across them. In the center stood a huge throne, stairs leading up to the blood red chair. I walked up to the throne, some girl with her hood up standing before the throne.
"My lord, I just received word that three demigods will be leaving the camp to go on a quest for Demititans soon. David Banner is one of them."

"Davey is heading out from his precious camp huh? It's about time, I've been aching for some payback." The man on the throne spoke from the shadows. Something about his voice...it sounded so familiar. The way he said my name, like he knew me. And that arrogant tone.

"Wait a minute...it can't be..." I floated up a bit, the light from the fire glowing brighter to show him. My eyes widened in fear as I looked upon the boy I thought I killed a year ago.

"Kain..."

"Come on then Cuz. I've been dying to see you." He smirked, the scar on his eye glowing red. The scar I put there. The scar my sword left when I drove it threw his eye.
"It's pay back time Davey!"
