Booooooooooooooks
Apparently I'm not that scary in full nerd-mode, because Percy was back within half an hour. He was carrying a box, and it seemed heavy. He dumped in front of me and sank down on the bunk bed, panting slightly. I looked into the box, and gasped.
'They're beautiful!' I exclaimed, and carefully examined the contents of the box. Inside were twelve hardcover books with beautiful front covers. I thought I recognized Percy on almost all of them.
'Is that you?' I asked him. 'Yes, it is. Actually, the biggest part of these books is about me. Look' he pointed at five of them, 'these are about the Second Titan War, and these' he pointed at five other books, 'are about the Second Giant War. Chiron has written down the correct order for you. In these two, ' he pointed at the last two books,'are some short stories featuring me or the seven.'
'Thank you so much!' I half-squealed. He smiled, and stood up again. 'I, um, have some other things to do, so I'll leave you to it.' He did seem eager to go away. I couldn't blame him. Besides, I was going to read the books right now anyway.
'And, um, try not to laugh too hard at my dumb actions, okay?' he said, blushing slightly. I nodded, and he walked out of the cabin.
When he was gone, I put the books in a shelve above my bed, in the correct order. I immediately started reading the first book, The Lightning Thief. It was very well written, and I was lost in the book very quickly.
Notes
