The Olympians Arc: Camp Half-Blood~~~~~~~~~~
"Just a little bit more and we'd be at camp!" Grover yelled. They were running as fast as they could.
Des looked back and saw millions of monsters chasing after them. Thalia stopped. "You guys go, I'll hold them off!"
Des froze. "But--!" Thalia screamed. "GO!" Des nodded and ran.
Naria looks back at her, "are you NUTS?! Thalia!"
Grover pushes her forward,"Naria we need to go!"
Naria tears up and begins fighting against Grover, Des looks back, "Naria, please!"
Naria wiped her sleeves against her eyes and starts running again, occasionally looking back to check on Thalia.
Suddenly, Naria saw Thalia lying on the ground. "No!" She yelled and tried to run towards Thalia's broken form.
Suddenly something strange happened. Thalia was growing, she was turning into a tree. When the monster tried to run at the demigods, they were pushed back by some kind of force.
Naria sinks to the ground tearing up, "not..not again..." Des carefully sits next to Naria, looking up at Grover, "what's going on?"
Naria covers her head beginning to sob as she looks up at Grover, "why is she a tree?! Why.. why did it have to be Thalia?!"
"She's not dead." Des whispers. "She's still alive, I can feel it.."
Grover froze. "You can... Feel it? How?" Des shrugged. "I just can."
Grover turned to the Camp entrance, "I'll explain everything later. For now, lets go inside."
Naria looks back at the ground, "Des..Help..help me up please..."
Des carefully helps her up and gently rubs her back, "it'll be okay Naria...I hope.."
Naria nods, quickly wiping her eyes, "y..yeah..okay.." Naria begins to walk toward the camp, "lead the way, please."
