Truth or Dare- With a Twist

Percy didn’t know what to do. He knew that only other people could hear the voice change. That was part of the magic of the potion.
“Annabeth… um… you sound a bit off. Maybe we should um… get you some medicine?” Percy knew it was a terrible lie. He cringed mentally, but hey, when your girlfriend’s voice suddenly sounds like one of you old enemies who had betrayed you and caused the death of many of your friends, you kind of don’t want to tell them. Especially when it was your fault they now sound like that.
“DO I, PERCY JACKSON?! DO I SOUND A BIT OFF?! I HADN’T REALIZED!” Annabeth shouted.
“Do you wanna know who you sound like at least?” Percy asked.
“Sure. Why not? It can’t be that bad, can it?” She said, scared.
“You sound like Luke.”



7 Weeks Later


Annabeth stood over Percy’s unmoving body. He had been in the coma for 6 weeks and 6 days. She had gotten the cure for the voice potion just the other day, and her throat was sore from talking with a high pitched voice again.
“Im sorry Percy…” A tear traced down her cheek. She began to sob.
“Aw, I’m not druling that much, am I?” A voice croaked.
She started, looked down, and saw Percy had awoken. She hugged him, kissed him, and then kneed him in the nuts.
“OW!!!” He shouted. “WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!”
“For making me put you in a coma. Then for making me wait for you to come out of the coma.”
She said, laughing. Percy smiled, though he was still in pain, and said
“Well, you don’t call me Seaweed brain for nothing!”
