Truth or Dare- With a Twist

"OK, who wants to go next?" asked Percy.
"Can I go?" asked Connor Stoll, who was grinning evilly.
"OK, your go." Percy responded, worried.
"Annabeth, truth or dare?" Connor asked.
"As much as I'm afraid of what is coming for this choice, I don't want to act scared, so dare." Annabeth said.
"OK, I dare you to hold a jar with a big tarantula in it for the rest of the game!" Connor shouted joyfully.
"WHAT?! NO! I AM NOT HOLDING A JAR WITH ANY SPIDER IN IT!" Annabeth exploded, wishing she had backed down and chosen truth.
"A dare is a dare, and plus, we all swore on the River Styx to do what we were dared to do." Connor argued. Dammit, he's right! Annabeth thought, feeling more and more anxious.
"Fine! I'll do it! But only under one condition." Annabeth said, already plotting her revenge.
"What is that?" Connor asked.
"I get to dump the jar on your head when we're done with this." Annabeth said, confident in her plan.
"It's worth it!" Connor said, causing Annabeth to visibly pale, who was hoping he would disagree and make a new dare. "Hey Leo, and Jason, come with me please." Connor said, planning to make this as bad as possible for Annabeth.
"OK" said Leo and Jason at the same time, getting up to follow Connor.
Once out of the cabin, Connor turned to Jason and Leo. "Leo, I need you to take a regular glass jar and carve lines into it to make it break easier, but make them not visible, so maybe heat the jar after, or paint it or something. Jason, you need to get me Lou Ellen's tarantula, which we're gonna put in the jar, but tell Annabeth it is a wild one, and give it to her. Knowing Annabeth, she is gonna squeeze the jar because she is scared, so its gonna break. Then the tarantula is gonna crawl all over her and freak her out. Got it?"
"Got it!" said Leo.
"Poor Annabeth, but I'm in!" Jason said.
They went to do their parts.

After the boys returned with the jar with the massive spider, Annabeth nearly started crying. She was deathly afraid of spiders to begin with, being a Daughter of Athena and all, but after Arachne pulled her and Percy down into Tartarus after that cavern in Rome, the sight of the large spider, especially knowing that it was descended from Arachne herself, was nearly enough to give Annabeth a panic attack. Her breath shortened, and her eyes grew wide. Her eyes stung, and she gulped, knowing this was happening no matter what. Reluctantly, she took the jar from Connor, and squeezed it a little as the- the thing in the jar moved, which resulted in the jar shattering in her hands. Many screams, shouts, and sobs later, Percy stood up and placed his arms around Annabeth protectively, and comfortingly. "A-a-Arachne. Rome. T-t-Tartarus..." Annabeth sobbed into Percy's shoulder, who was glaring pointedly at Connor, who was trying desperately to hold back a fit of laughter, and failing.
"What the HELL?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THAT JAR!?" Percy bellowed, as water leaked from under the bathroom door as the water pressure to all the surrounding cabins simultaneously blew every pipe and valve up, which caused terror across 6 other cabins, just going to show Percy's anger at Connor, who now looked like he was staring into the face of Thanatos.
"Stoll I swear on the River Styx you are going to regret that!" Percy shouted, still comforting Annabeth who was crying silently into his shoulder still. Thunder rumbled in tho distance.
"I-I'm sorry Percy, I just couldn't resist. It was so perfect, and-"
"I DON'T CARE! SHE WAS STUCK IN A CAVERN WITH THE GREAT GRANDMOTHER OF THAT THING, AND YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY TO TRICK HER INTO RELEASING IT?" Percy shouted again.
"Percy, stop, please. It's OK." Annabeth said.
"Maybe we should take a break from this for a while, let everyone calm down." Rachel said.
"OK, good idea. We can all meet back here in, oh I dunno, 30 minutes?" Reyna said, though she was also glaring at Connor, who seemed to be trying to disappear.
And like that, round one was over.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry it took so long, but part 3 is HERE! Thank you all for the reading, it means a lot to me.
