Tales of the Demititans

Adam and Isaac

"Going to see DADDY! Going to see DADDY!!!" The ten foot tall teen chanted as he skipped up the mountain, rocks bouncing with each landing. He stopped on a ledge, waiting for his older brother, Isaac, to catch up. He smashed his large fist against the ground like a gorilla excitedly."Come on brother!"
"Adam, in my defense, your father is not going anywhere. Why do you want to see him so badly anyway?"
"He's daddy! Don't you want to see your daddy?"
"My father is an oversized janitor in Tartarus..." He scoffed, avoiding the question. He ran his long nimble fingers through his white hair, breathing out softly.
"We'll go see him next! Now come on! Adam wants to hurry before sundown!"
"Alright, alright, I'm coming..." He moved backwards a few steps, pulling his usual spear off of his back. He ran forward, using it as a pole vault to catch up with his younger half-brother, the son of Atlas.
"What do you expect to get out of this meet-and-greet, brother? A nice father-son talk with plenty of hugs and kisses?"
"Hugs and kisses?!"
"Sarcasm, brother. Learn it." He rolled his grey eyes at his now disappointed brother. "All I'm saying is, you really shouldn't expect much from him. He's Atlas, the Titans most ruthless general."
"AND!" Adam said, holding up a large finger pointedly. "He's daddy!"
"Yes, and he's daddy. You know, for such a brilliant tactician, you aren't that smart."
"Adam is smart!"
"Say encyclopedia."
"En...encly...ankle...shush!"
Isaac chuckled softly, elbowing Adam in the hip, as high as he could reach with his 5'6 frame. "I'm only joking brother. Relax. You don't need to be smart as long as you've got me around. Brains-"
"AND BRAWN!" Adam roared, raising his arms triumphantly. Music began to play, humming around the mountain as the sun set over the cliffs edge. As the brothers walked further along, they spotted the tree signaling they were close. Adam laughed giddily, running ahead towards the ladon. Three heads poked up from its slumber, it's tail wagging. Isaac smiled happily, leaning against another tree as he watched his brother play with the lizard that guarded the sacred apples of Hera. His mind began calculating, as it usually did, putting his thoughts together. About five days ago, Adam announced this trip to their fellow Demititans.

"Adam want to meet daddy!"
"Wha...Adam, are you insane?!" Kira shouted at him, her eyes glowing gold. "Why in earth Olympus and Hades would you want to meet him?!"
"Demititans know daddies and mommies. Adam never met daddy. Adam wants to meet daddy!"
"Adam, buddy, listen to me." Paris said, clapping him on the shoulder. "WE didn't enjoy knowing our parents, and we had no choice. You've got a choice buddy! I know this'll be hard for you, but think about it. Your dad is a crazy, headstrong, sociopath who was just as bad, if not worse, then any Titan!"
"Adam doesn't care. Adam wants to meet his daddy. No one is gonna stop him." He said matter-of-factly. Fact was, he was right. Adam Warren, the son of Atlas and strongest demititan, or human, alive. With his powers, he was both the unstoppable force and the immovable object put into one. If he got working, no one could stop him. The Demititans looked around each other in their cabin at camp, deciding what to do before one of them finally spoke up. Isaac Robison, son of Iapetus.
"I'll go with him."
"Isaac, think about what you're-"
"I already have." He tapped his temple. "Smartest man alive, remember? I'm Adams half-brother, so I should look out for him."
Adam smiled widely, wrapping his older smaller brother in a bear hug. "Thanks Isaac!"
He cringed, struggling to break free. "Touching, touching, TOUCHING!"

Isaac smiled at the small memory before quickly wiping the smile away, remembering the mission. "Adam! Say goodbye to Ladon!"
"Bye-bye pretty lizard!" Adam waved as he bounded away after his brother. "So, do we get to see daddy now?"
"Yes Adam, you get to see your father now. I won't be sitting far off, so if you need anything-"
"Call for brother, I know!" He said, running off to the peak to speak to the man holding the sky. Isaac sighed softly as he watched him run off, sitting down on a rock, leaning against a column of the old ruins on the mountain and thinking of his own father. He looked around bored, thinking on what to do. Right before he started to calculate long equations, the ground began to shake. Isaac looked up, expecting to find his brother running back down, only to be back handed by a large hand, flying into a crumbling pillar and smashing through it. He coughed violently, trying to catch his breath as he looked up, finding the last man he wanted to see. Atlas.
The Titan laughed harshly in triumph, raising his fist in victory, just like his son had earlier. "FREE!" He cried out, his voice echoing. "FREE AT LAST!"
"Atlas...what did you do with Adam?!"
Atlas glanced at him with little regard. "That weak excuse for a son? He was more then happy to take my burden for his precious 'daddy'. The idiot. And to think, he's my blood. He must have gotten his intelligence from his mother, the stupid whore mother."
Anger flared up in Isaac, quickly using the emotion for energy, standing up as his eyes glowed. "Big mistake Atlas. You're going back under the sky."
"And who's gonna make me? You? You're just a tactician boy, you're nothing like your father. A real warrior."
"Just a tactician ey? Then you should have no problem taking me on, Titan. Here, I'll make it even easier on you." He pulled his spear off his back, tossing it aside before gesturing for the general to attack him. Atlas growled, his muscles flexing to intimidate him.
"Big mistake, abomination." He charged at him, pulling back his arm to swing a massive fist. Isaac quickly ran the numbers, deciding the best coarse of action, running off of pure instinct. Duck.
The fist came down at him, back bending before it hit him. He went back and caught himself, kicking up at his arm to snap it. Unfortunately, the Titan was stronger then to be disabled by a kick. He quickly recovered, grabbing Isaacs leg and swinging him around, throwing him again, this time into the ground. Isaac was burrowed into the ground at his brothers feet, growling angrily. Adam whimpered in pain, tears streaking down his cheeks. "Daddy..."
"Hang on brother, I'll get you out from there!" Isaac called up at him, getting up.
"How are you going to do that demititan? No weapons, no skills, no powers. You're weak, tainted, broken. You can't win."
"That's what you think, cocky son of a bitch..." Isaacs eyes begs to glow again, charging up. Isaacs powers were especially draining on him. He recharged using emotions, most of the time his own. The reason why he was such a robot. His face went blank as he stood, cracking his neck, his wounds healing. "Atlas the immovable. Return to your position. Last chance."
"Think you're gonna scare me with the tough guy act?!" Atlas roared, charging at him again. Isaac rolled out of the just in time, going for his spear. Atlas smirked, swinging his leg to kick his ribs. Isaac made no response as two were broken in the impact, beginning to heal them already. He spun his spear once, pointing it at Atlas. "I said get back to your spot you son of a-" he couldn't finish his sentence before a massive amount of energy flew out of his spear tip, blasting Atlas the immovable backwards, back up the mountain. Isaac moved forward, heeding him back.
"NO! NOOOOOO!" Atlas cried out before bumping into Adam. The rejected son growled, holding the sky in one hand and dragging back Atlas with another, forcing him back to his spot under the sky. They both panted heavily as Atlas roared, screaming curses at the both of them.
"Daddy is...very mean...Adam doesn't like..."
"Tried to warn you brother...you alright?"
"Knees hurt, but ok. Can Adam leave now?"
"Of coarse buddy... Let's go get you something to eat, you must be tired."
"ICE CREAM?!"
"Alright. No chocolate sauce though, you'll be up all n- HEY WAIT FOR ME!" Isaac called at his now happy again brother as he ran, leaving the curses of the Titan behind.

Notes

For those who don't know, demititan power requires them to charge off of certain things. Lilith and Paris both charge off of anger, either in each other or others. Isaac feeds off of emotion. Adam uses kinetic energy. Hope you enjoyed this chapter as well!

@Constrictor
Though I don't plan to stop using him, I felt...I felt the need to end his story. For years I've been developing him and writing his story. And, sense our little group has stopped, I figured...his story should stop with it.
