Daughter of Time

Don't ask me why Grover was driving down a long gravel road with us in the back seat. He kept mumbling about power and monsters and about how much this sucked, which as far as I could tell was the only thing coming out of his mouth that made any sense. Anyway we pulled up next to a fairly big 2 story house surrounded on all sides by forest, in other words Grover's paradise.

As we got out of the car we saw a hellhound sprinting towards a window on the bottom floor. We gave chase yelling and screaming but mostly breathing heavily. I don't think that you realize how fast hellhounds are. They are very fast. We finally caught up with it as it dived through the window. We followed it through the hole.

Inside was a young girl, no more than 12 sitting on a bed reading. The girl looked up in surprise and said "Shit!" That pretty much summed up the situation. The Hellhound pounced
on the girl, but I stabbed it in the back before it could do any real damage. As it dissolved into golden dust I helped the girl up. "What's you name?" I asked.

Faster then I could follow the girl reached behind her back and pushed my girlfriend Annabeth Up against a wall and drew a knife, and pressed it to Annabeth's throat and said " My name is not as important to your survival at the moment as your names and what your doing here."

I quickly Drew Riptide and pressed the tip to the girl's back. "Give me a reason not to stab you right now." I hissed through me clenched teeth.

"Because she seems important to you and I will have a little under a second to slit her throat before I die if you stab me right now." She answered in a calm, melodic voice. Now that I thought about it she was actually kind of pretty. Shut up, focus on the mission I told myself.

Grover, who had been quiet up until then said " My name is Grover, This is Percy Jackson, He said pointing to me "And the girl that your about to kill is named Annabeth chase, And we are here for you...
