Finding Love

Once I got to the Big House I demanded to speak to Chiron.

"Well where is he!?" I asked Conner.

"He's here just wait, ok?" he replied. Just then out walked or more out wheeled Chiron.

"I want to go HOME!!!" I practically yelled, "This place just isn't for me." I added.

Chiron chuckled, "The thing is Alli, this is the place for you, if you leave you will not be safe. How about after you have had a night to sleep on it, come back and tell me if you still want to leave, Ok?"

I sighed, "Fine, but only one night, ok?"

"Good he said, how Conner go get her ready for capture the flag." He said

"Yess sir." Conner answered as he dragged me out of the big house, and towards some other building.

"Where are we going?" I aksed.

"We need to get you in armour, and find you a weapon." He answered.

"Ok, I want throwing knives." I told him.

He looked at me confused, "Throwing knives??" He said puzzled.

"You know, knives that you throw." I said snottily.

"I know what they are I just didn't take you as a person to use throwing knives. that's all." He said defensively.

"Well my mom taught me, it was her weapon of choice for hunting." I said back

"We will test you for all weapons to see what is the best fit, then you can chose." He said

"Then let's go!" I said as I dragged him into the Armoury building.

First I got fitted for armour, I had it on just incase I impaled myself. The first weapon I tried was a dagger, I was Ok with it but I felt uncomfortable just holding on to it. Next was the bow. Not to shabby I must say, I got 3 out of 7 bullseyes. Next was the sword, I was really good with a sword, but I didn't like it, the sward felt long and akward in my hand. Finally I got the do the throwing knives. I threw bullseye after bullseye, a crowd had formed around me byt the time I was done. My heart was pumping out of my chest, people were staring at me, no they were staring above me. I looked up and there was a bident crossing over a skull.

"Well looks like you've been claimed, by Hades." Conner said after what felt like an eternity. "And looks like he's left you a gift!" I looked at my feet and there it was a box wrapped in black tissue paper, will a peice of paper with my name on it, lying on top.
