Argo III

Everyone was sat on their cabin tables, eating quietly, when suddenly Chiron waved to someone and Leo Valdez walked up onto the "stage". I huffed and carried on drawing in my sketchbook. I was different to the other Aphrodite kids. I liked to draw, I was a virgin, I didn't want to break peoples hearts and I very rarely had a boyfriend. But I didn't really care, I liked who I was. But of course that meant most of my cabin didn't like me much, especially Drew Tanaka. Bitch. So, I was minding my own business when I heard the words "Argo III". I immediately looked up, and caught Leo looking straight at me. He winked and I scowled at him. He just felt like one of those people that just like to fuck you around. Fuckboy. I didn't like him, but he seemed to think I was into him. I don't know how. Anyways, he carried on talking, and everyone started to get exited. I wasn't listening much so I asked Raven, the girl next to me what was going on, and she told me that apparently the 7 and 2 other people were going on the new Argo, for 3 years, just for abit of fun. And they would become immortal. I wasn't much fussed, but then Leo and the other 6 started talking in hushed voices. Raven turned to me. She's also my best friend, one of the only people in our cabin that accepted me for who I was. She was only 5'3, and had long jet black hair with crimson red highlights. "I wonder who they will pick" she said, her daring crimson eyes looking straight into mine. "Yeah.." I replied anxiously. I wasn't an outgoing person until you got to know me. Well, after a minute the seven turned back to us and Jason cleared his throat. "The two people we have decided to bring with us are Raven Chansley, Aphrodite and Emma Watsworth, also Aphrodite." I stopped drawing and looked up in surprise. Why us two? We looked at each other confused, and as I looked around I felt the whole camp glaring at us. "Ummm.." I muttered as drew shot me evils. Everyone knew she wanted to fuck Jason and Percy, so she wanted to go more than other people. I looked up at Leo, and realised that raven was already up there. I slowly walked towards them, my cheeks going red as everyone stared. I never wanted attention. Piper smiled at me and said, "okay guys dinners over, go back to cabins and you two girls go get packed, meet us at the border at 7am tomorrow okay?" We nodded, and walked back to our cabin, squealing as we went.
