Depression
His back slid down the cold bathroom wall in his cabin and he collapsed onto the group, hugging his knees to his chest. He buried his head into his thighs and breathed deeply, in and out. He sighed and out of a habit, found himself reaching to his back with his rough hand, touching the tattoo he had gotten after a year of being depressed.
No one loves you
He felt his body shake and tears streamed down his face, each tear dripping down his cheek. He let out a sob and felt himself squeezing himself even tighter.
Everyone hates you They all abandoned you
He recalled everybody, ignoring and abandoning him. Nobody talked to him anymore. He sat alone at the Poseidon table, no one payed attention to him anymore. His friends had forgotten about him. They all abandoned him. Even his own parents.
You Mother hates you
A tear rolled down his cheek as he traced the deep cuts in his arms.
"I think it's best that you leave this family. Your sibling is being born soon and I don't want he or she to be dragged into the Greek Mythological world. I don't want any monsters hurting him or her. Please, take all your things and just leave."
He could still remember the day he was kicked out of the only family he had left. His own Mother, the one that gave birth to him and took care of him over the years. He rocked his body back and forth and felt another tear roll down his cheek.
"Dad... Please, come visit me. I need you now. I have no one else, nobody. All my friends are abandoning me one by one... Please... Dad..."
He prayed every day, before he went to bed and started his day. But his Father never came. His Father didn't give him any signal. He just ignored him, leaving him all alone, abandoned and forgotten by everyone.
All your friends forgot about you
He dug his nails deep into his skin, so deep till red blood began flowing out, dripping from his arms all the way to the cold tiles of the bathroom floor.
"Hey guys! Guess what day it is today?"
"Hold on dude, we're listening to one of Jason's quest."
"But, it's a really important-"
"Gods, do you have to be so whiny! We're trying to listen!"
It was his birthday and no one remembered. No one wished him a Happy Birthday. Not even his own Father and Mother. He could handle that but when he tried to tell them, they were all either too busy or simply just ignored him.
His body shook with silent sobs and he dug his nails even deeper into his skin. He looked up at the ceiling, reminding himself to just breathe in and breathe out.
Annabeth abandoned, forgot and hates you
"NO!" He shouted to nobody. He rocked himself back and forth, sobs escaping from his mouth. He felt himself trembling and commanded himself to stand up. He slowly and shakily stood up, making his way to the sink. He looked in the mirror and saw himself. What once was the face of a hero was now broken. He had dark circles around his eyes. His usual carefree and happy sea green eyes were now a dull green grey colour.
"Annabeth!" He called out, dashing towards the blonde who sat under a tree.
"What?" She snapped, rolling her eyes.
"Gods, can you stop disturbing me? I need and want some time to myself!"
He stumbled back, complete and utter shock written all over his face.
"Oh... Um... Okay..." He felt himself say and quickly ran back to his cabin.
Sobs escaped from his throat and he crumpled to the floor again. Suddenly, he saw a shiny metal object at the corner of his eyes. His trembling hands grabbed the sharp object and he twirled the object in his hands. Without hesitation, he dug the sharp end deep into his skin and began carving out words.
Hurt
Anger
Sadness
Forgotten
Hated
Alone
Broken
Touching the newly carved words, he traced each letter. Once he traced the last word with his finger, he squeezed his eyes shut. "I'm broken..." He whispered to himself, a tear rolling down his cheek before fainting on his toilet floor due to the amount of blood he had loss.
Broken
