Soulmates

I'm walking to biology. I guess it's not my best subject. That's why my teacher is setting us partners for the year. It would be so cliché if my soulmate is going to be my partner (A/N: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You guys know what I'm about to do. *Grins*) . But that only happens in cheesy love movies. I sat down at my desk and took my books out. Someone sat next to me but I never really pay attention to them. "Ok class today-" The teacher dragged on. I never pay attention in this class. "For your project you'll be assigned partners." She listed out a few names. "Blake and Manha you two will do the project together." My head snapped towards the teacher at the sound of my name. "Well I guess I'm your partner." A voice said next to me. I turned my head to see a girl with thick black hair tied up in a messy bun with a rose clip and Stormy grey eyes next to me. "You must be Blake. I'm Manha." She says. I nod "So what's the project about." I ask. She raised an eyebrow, studying me. "Where you not paying attention?" she asks sternly yet softly. I grinned sheepishly "No... I almost never pay attention. Probably why my grades are slipping." she sighed. "Honestly. Well I'll be your tutor until your grades are beyond average." She says. My eyes widened in shock. "Wha- Really?! That's awesome!" I said grinning like a fool. "Here." I gave her my address. "Thank you!" she smiles at me. "Well, it's the least I could do." she says. "I'm not smart. Well not as smart as my half sister Annabeth. But I'll try!" She smiles. She got up and left. After a little while I got up and sighed happily. Well, as happy as you get until I get home. Then hell really begins.
