Even before a god came crashing down into my backyard, my life wasn't normal. I was your average teenager - fighting the forces of nature like no other has ever face. Tell me any sixth sophomores whom have fought toe to toe with a Titan Lord and lived to tell about or the Mother Earth herself.

But my life's been pretty good ever since the defeat of Gaea and her not so smoking hot shot of a dad, the Universe himself, Khaos.

I can go on and on about all the wonderful adventures in full length detailed stories that would probably become a best seller just like that Percy Jackson fellow did. I would've loved for my life to be so simple, but nah I get these mini stories to talk about during my "off seasons".

Anyways, where was I? Oh yea, the god crashing down into my backyard. Let's just say, this wasn't the highlight of my day.

The highlight of my day came just about three hours before the god came into the picture. Selena and I were cuddling on my bed watching some weird show of hers. I didn't really pay much attention to the show. I was more so focused on the fact that she had finally agreed to spend the night at my place, and it was the most amazing night of my life.

Being a teenager with a girlfriend doesn't really get that awesome when you're a demigod and have to be at a 24 Seven job of fighting off monsters and protecting the world from its total global destruction.

After a few minutes, Selena rolled her eyes and smirked. "Okay, seriously Markus if you keep on looking at me like that I'm not gonna be able to catch up on the series."

"Like what?" I snickered.

"Oh you know what you're doing." Selena's lips sketched across a smile across her face. I leaned in closer and gazed at her lips carefully.

She was right about one thing. I knew what I was doing and the funny thing about it. I didn't want to stop. This was the first time we had time alone to ourselves and I wasn't going to waste it. Camp wasn't the easiest place to get some alone time, especially with that pesky rule about a boy and girl alone in the same room together.

It was as if the Gods knew that I was going to come along and ruin everything. Smart. Some might even say clever but I've gotten my fair share of time alone with Selena for the past two years.

"I mean we can always watch it later." My words came out as crafty and smooth as ever.

Selena doubted my reason. Gazing at her mint green eyes, I noticed something. Selena was thinking a billion of ways that her chances of watching the rest of this series could be shattered.

"Fine." Selena murmured a bit annoyed. I smiled at her and leaned forward for a kiss. Our lips pursed against one another just as lightning flickered across the sky.

Gazing at the backyard, I noticed that it had begun raining. Smiling at her I smirked. "Looks like we can't watch the rest of your show anyways, sucks that the rain killed it. So how about it?"

Selena smiled. "Come back here, I wanna cuddle anyways."

Markus smiled proudly as he walked back over and laid down next to her as they returned back to kissing.

After about three hours of just talking, making out and just well eating some food and cuddling that's when something even stranger happened.

In an arch of lightning there was a huge crash outside my house. I gazed outside to notice something had fallen from the sky. Amazed, I grabbed a rain jacket and raced outside to notice a man just about the same age as me deep within a crater just about 9 feet deep.

Annoyed, I raced down to noticed the same man was none other than Apollo, the God of prophecy.

"Selena, quick come help me! It's Apollo!"

Racing over, she grabbed his other arm and helped me lift him inside.

Notes

A new story. Just thought of making my own little version of this. It kinda goes well as a side story to my own series (Gods of Olympus & The Gods of Rome).

Let me know if you guys like it. I'm considering even making tons of side stories with my characters jut to kinda make stories toward their series as either side stories to the main series or add ons.
