King

Like the Predecessors

Zeus awoke chained to the crippling abyss of the void that was Khaos. For years, he had always been top dog. For eons, would be the thing that made monsters run for the hills. Zeus was known as King above all. But now he was reduced to nothingness as his siblings relinquished the title away from him. His wife Hera would now serve a new King. A King in the likes of his own brother.

Gazing at Poseidon, Zeus’ weary and beaten storm of eyes pitied him. Unlike Poseidon whom rules over a small but important kingdom, Zeus knew what it took to rule an entire world.

“My how the mighty has fallen.” Poseidon boasted. “This is your punishment brother. You shall be cast out into the thing that feeds reality itself. This is your punishment for all your transgressions. Never again shall there be a son of Zeus. Never again shall there be a bastard on top of the thrown – ”

“I would not say never brother.” Zeus coiid. “Even you too now are a bastard of a brother.”
“Never again shall you be so arrogant to speak to your King. Good by brother and good riddance.”

Zeus gazed at the void of endless screams. He didn’t know how or why but somehow, he could see everything turning out all right. He knew that his past made him this but somehow, he had come to love his eternity. He had come to appreciate everything that lead up to this exact moment. But somewhere down the line he had wished he could change his fate just once more . . .

Zeus gazed in the mirror to watch as his tailor measured him for a new suit. Zeus was a man of many riches but the one of them all that had him above all elated was his sense of fashion.
Thanks to the efforts of Hephaestus with his use of innovation, Hermes with his sense of commerce and Aphrodite with her sense of style and fashion Zeus was swimming in a new lifestyle here in America.

His favorite stores seemed to be tailor made for men. Anything form Giorgio to Gucci to Calvin Klein, Zeus had. He spent so much on clothes that Hera wondered why he hadn’t heired any more bastard children of his.

It didn’t just sit well with him for fashion statements. Zeus spent every day eating gourmet foods. He would spend casually hundreds of mortal money to satiate his hunger.
Gazing at the tailor, Zeus smirked. “I think this would be nice, Pablo.”
“My name’s Pedro, Sir.” The tailor acknowledged.

“Oh, really. You remind me of a Pablo from . . .” Zeus’ words fell at a loss. “Never mind, it was a harmless mistake. So how much will it be for the suit.”

“Five hundred for the suit. Forty-Seven for the tailoring.” Pedro responded.

“Charge it to my card.” Zeus pulled out a solid gold card that had the image of an Eagle at the side. The Card was obviously a magically item for himself, but to the mere mortals it was much more. It was a stealthy little thing. Commonly looked at the best credit card in the world.
“Would that be all for you today sir?” Pedro asked.

“That’ll be all. Oh and be mindful I’m meeting someone for lunch. I cannot expect to be late. Hurry at it Pablo.”

“It’s Pedro.” Pedro murmured underneath his breath aggravated at Zeus’ persistence.

After shopping, Zeus arrived at a small café just at the northern end of Fifth Avenue. He wore a custom-made suit, newly refined Armani shoes, a pair of sunglasses and had on a new douche bag haircut. The man was basically everything wrong with spoiled first classed citizens.

“Name?” The host asked.
“Christopher Xerxes.” Zeus responded.
“Xerxes Party of two.” The host remarked. “Right this way, your guest is already here.”
“That I am aware, she’s always on time.” Zeus smirked as he made his way towards the table.

Gazing at the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth, Zeus’ face elated with joy. He had never seen such a beautiful woman since the day he had met Hera. But that was over two thousand years ago, now sexy and beautiful had two different meanings.

The woman was wearing a beautiful original dress made by some designer in Italy. She had luscious blonde hair and eyes like that of a rainbow. Her eyes shifting ever so slightly from one color to the next. ROYGBIV was a beautiful onsombiance of colors for her eyes. Especially when coupled with her smile.

“My beautiful Aphrodite.” Zeus smirked as the two embraced. He gracefully kissed her cheek as they shared a passionate embrace.

“Zeus, how’s it been. Have you loved the new selections they have?”
“Yes, but Pedro still has work to do on my fitting. I can never get this body quite the same every time I morph into it.”

“Really?” Aphrodite smiled. “You’d think the King would know how to keep his shapeshifting to a minimal.”

“I always want to go shopping like mortals.” Zeus responded. “After the turn of the century, more and more classic modern clothes are coming back into style.”

“Dearest Zeus, the term your looking for is Cheek.” Aphrodite smiled.
“Ah yes, Cheek indeed.” Zeus pulled closer. “Now, as for our discussion, you know I honored our pact. I allow you to doll me up and make me into the best rich – what was the word you choose again?”

“Douche Bag.” Aphrodite sneered.
“Yes well that, and in exchange you entertain me.”
Aphrodite smiled as he took a sip of her Margareta. “Indeed, besides Ares is no fun after the fact that the middle east has been going on turf wars since the early 1900’s. I could use a new play toy. Mortals aren’t as durable as a God.”

“That indeed. But I would also ask for one more favor too.”
“It better be a juicy one then, Zeus. I don’t play favors for just anyone. Especially not you of all people.”
“Trust me this one will get you so good you’d be tempted to say yes even if it kills you.”

Persephone whipped her prisoner of love as he squealed. She laughed in amusement as a man appeared out of thin air.

Gazing upon him, Persephone’s excitement and sexual lust died quickly. “Oh, it’s you. With what graces, should I bestow upon the, the all but powerful King of Olympus?”
Zeus took form as he gazed at the young and vibarant Persephone. The woman was not much more than a mere child. She was his child after all but that had been long forgotten in the minds of a god.

“Do you seek to ridicule Hades?” Zeus so boldly spoke.
Persephone smirked. “As do I always. The rat bastard has kept me prisoner in this place for more than eight months at a year. I’m lucky enough to spend but only a fraction of that in the outer world with my not so dearest mother.”

“Give yourself to me and you shall have the power of three.” Zeus purposed.
Persephone smirked. “I’ve been quite bored for the millennia. Might as well let a God satiate my thirst.”

Zeus smiled. “It shall be done my child. Fret not as your link to the devil shall be broken.”
Persephone smirked as Zeus vanished.

With the actions of one complete the next one was brought to him by the no more devious and lustful goddess herself, Aphrodite.

The Queen of Atlantis walked the halls gracefully as she awaited the return of her husband from the surface world.

“Mother.” A young man with ocean skin and bright green eyes gazed upon her. He held long and shimmering jet black hair tied back into dread knots.

“My heir Triton, what troubles the?”
“Father has yet to return. Our forces grow weary without their king.”
“A bold statement.” Aphrodite’s voice called across the hall.

Gazing at Aphrodite, Triton drew his spear. “The has lots of nerve. Breaching sacred laws of the land. Aphrodite nonetheless, the slut goddess herself.”

“Such harsh language toward a lady.” Aphrodite smiled. “It seems your mother didn’t teach you manners.”
“She did! I just don’t bowed well with trash as yourself.”
“Mind your tongue child. I’m but over two thousand years above you in power and three thousand in age and wisdom. Your knowledge upon love is only based upon your own fairytales. I’ve experienced and learned thousands of things you have yet to discover.”
“To what do we owe this company of yours, Aphrodite?” The Queen of Atlantis spoke.
“Amphitrite, I see your guidance with something. If you agree upon this, I shall not harm anyone within your kingdom.”

“What makes you think you can harm anyone within Atlantis.” Amphitrite wondered.
“The fact that I am not only older, but I too was born from the sea. The sea is my natural home. I can destroy and create. Cause havoc and appease.”
Amphitrite gazed at the Love Goddess. “Very well then, I shall listen to what you have to say.”

Notes

This chapter is still not done. . . just kinda got tired of writing it all down and basically this is a good enough place to post and see what many others think about this.

It's just a blah place where I can write about the gods in a different way than I have before and basically have a story cuz of nothing.

in this story Zeus is a rich douche bag, Persephone is into BSM and well Amphiritie she's a little bit of a goodie goodie. But who's to say Zeus won't change all of that. Also the beginning kind tells ya this wont end well for Zeus. . .
