A Lost Moon

Let's just say it started out a normal day... At my school not many days are normal but for our school it was.. Then it all changed... First my teacher left the room and didn't come back... Then that stupid bird broke through the window. Connor ran to Travis and Grover and I heard them say "Is that one of the things we've been waiting for??" Grover replied solemnly "Yes." Connor looked at Travis and they broke out into evil grins. Then the door came open right as the bird found me and was starting to dive toward my head. I heard a calm, steady voice say "Everybody under their desks but Travis, Connor, Grover, Katie and the girl who is about to be attacked to the Stymphalian Bird." Then the guy pulls out a bow and arrow and shoots down the bird. The man says, while I get a good look at him, "What's your name? I'm Mr. Brunner." "Selene," I reply. "Selene what?" Mr. Brunner asks. "I don't know my last name, sir." "Well good job Grover. Let's get this girl to camp." "Camp? What camp?" "Grover will explain on the way." I'm not sure if I should trust him, but I follow.
