Where'd the Girls Go?

"You now it's ten minutes till curfew and you could've been eaten by the harpies right?"
Nico said, a little louder than usual.
"Relax Nico
Hazel said
"She probably didn't know when curfew was."
She turned to me and said
"So as you know I'm Hazel and this is Nico. We're you're siblings now and children of Hades tend to get overprotective over one and other."
Giving Nico a look that said I'm talking about you.
"This is Hazels side of the room,
He said pointing to where Hazel was sitting and the bed next to it. I noticed that there was a curtain hung up between the three beds.
"And this is my side of the room. You'll be sleeping on the extra bed next to Hazels, and since there's three bathrooms in each cabin we each get our own."
"Okay, I think I'm gonna get in the shower."
I say and head into the bathroom.
Nico's POV
(Bet you didn't see that coming.)
Maggie went into the bathroom and I heard the water turn on.
"So what do you think of her? I like her, it'll be nice having a sister."
"She's nice but she's a little emo. I wonder if she'll ever warm up to us."
"Remind you of someone?"
We both laugh, remembering a time when I hated everyone and didn't talk.
"If she's anything like you she'll start to like us. Who knows maybe she'll even find a boyfriend."
"I think she already has one, Theo."
We both laugh until Hazel says
"I think we should try to see what powers she has. No ones ever been blessed by two gods let alone one."
"Yeah I'll talk to Will tomorrow and have him help us with the Apollo powers, and you can talk to Annabeth for help with the Athena powers."
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight"
I roll over in my bed as Hazel closes the curtain separating the room, and slowly drift into slumber.
Hazels POV
Nico had just gone to sleep and Maggie walked out of the bathroom. She was wearing black leggings, and a black tank top. I was surprised because this was the first time I'd seen her in any tight clothes. The leggings exposed her seriously muscular legs, and through the tank top you could see the clear outline of eight pack abs, and biceps bigger than Clarissies. (And that was saying something.)
"Hey Maggie,
She responds with a wave and a half hearted smile.
"I thought you Nico and I could go test out your powers tomorrow. We'll get Will to help with the Apollo stuff, and Annabeth can help you with your Athena powers."
"Sounds good."
She says unenthusiastically as she crawls into bed.
"Goodnight."
I say, and don't get and answer. She'll come around I think to myself and I fall asleep.
Maggie's POV
I get up in the morning around 6:00, the time my body gets me up. The camp is completely silent when I get up so I think I'm the only one up. I grab some Nike running shorts, a black muscle tee, and all black Adidas shoes, for my run every morning. I leave Nico and Hazel a note saying I'll be jogging somewhere around camp the grab my phone and headphones and walk out the door. I put on LA Devotee, one of my favorite songs, then start running towards the woods.
I'm surprised that the Ares kids aren't out here with me, sprinting a marathon. Omen H ought leads to the next and soon I'm enveloped in my own thoughts. I run about three miles into the woods, then three miles back out, and find myself running along the beach. I run two miles along the beach and then the run back to my cabin is another two miles.
Now I know what you're thinking, HOW CAN SHE RUN 10 MILES!? I honestly don't know, but maybe it has something to do with the whole Hades is my dad thing, or maybe it has to do with the fact that I play volleyball, constantly.
When I get back to my cabin, I see that Hazel, and Nico are still sleeping so I quietly grab some clothes from my duffle bag, and hop in the shower.
I come out of the shower, dressed in black jeans, and a My Chemical Romance shirt. Hazel is brushing out her hair in front of a mirror, and Nico is putting on his black converse. I walk over, and sit down on the edge of m bed before I grab my black converse and slip them on then start to tie the lace.
"Why do you get up so early?" Nico says
"I just went for a little ten mile run."
"Ten miles?!" Hazel says. Both her and Nico have pure shock on their face.
"Yeah, what's the big deal about ten miles?"
"I just don't think the Ares kids even run that far."
Nico says. We all break out into laughter.
"Oh, we better get to breakfast I say, looking at the clock."
With a nod of agreement, we make our way out the door and into the dining pavilion.
Theo's POV
I was sitting at the Big Three table for breakfast talking with Percy about Tyson but was easily distracted when Maggie walked out of her cabin. She's dressed in all black, including a leather jacket. Some people think she looks emo, but I think she looks gorgeous. She has her hair up in a ponytail, with dark curls falling out of it like a waterfall. She walks toward her usual seat next to me, she has a graceful stride, and could probably beat Kratos in a race. I'm interrupted from my thoughts when Percy says into a cough
"Stare much?"
I punch his shoulder playfully, grateful were the only ones at the table, when he says
"You have a crush on Maggie don't you?"
"Shut up Percy."
I respond and he starts laughing at my inability to confess my feelings.
Maggie takes her seat next to me, a little closer then usual, but hey I'm okay with it. She's followed by her siblings, and soon the rest of the gang.
"Hey Water Boy."
Maggie says. I feel my cheeks go red not because I'm embarrassed by the nickname, but because when she said that she playfully punched my shoulder and it sent a volt of electricity through my body. Percy notices this and snickers a little to himself.
Soon we are all distracted by our food, until Percy says
"So, since it's a free day, do you guys all want to go play volleyball after lunch?"
There's a murmur of agreement, but Hazel says
"Actually Nico, Will, Annabeth, and I are going to see what kinda powers Maggie has."
"Sweet, I'm coming!" Percy says.
"I would come but I've gotta work on Festus. But Maggie, may the odds be ever in your favor."
We all laugh at the Hunger Games quote because secretly were all book nerds, and apparently so is Maggie. I see her laughing out of the corner of my eye, and smile to myself because maybe, just maybe, she's starting to come out of her shell.

Notes

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.
But to make up for it, I'll share something crazy that happened today
For science today I had a sub, because my teacher was out sick. The sub looked exactly like a grown up Percy, no joke. He was about 6'3 which Uncle Rick said is Percy's height, he had shaggy black hair, and sea green eyes. He even acted like Percy! He was never still he just kinda was always moving around, or tapping his foot like he was just waiting for something to happen. He was also super funny, and a little sassy just like Percy. So, being the nerds we are, my friends and I developed a theory that this was the grown up Percy Jackson, and he was coming to collect us and bring us to camp half-blood because we were demi-gods and didn't know it.
I have the Slytherin symbol on my science notebook because that's what house I'm in. So he came over to me and was like oh your a Slytherin, that's cool, I'm a Ravenclaw/Grryfindor. My friends and I grinned at each other because we saw he was acting like Percy would've acted. So I asked if he'd ever read Percy Jackson before and he said no but he's heard really good things about it, with Percy's grin on is face. My friends and I started laughing, and he said am I missing something and we were like you have no idea.
Anyway today was a great day because of that and no he didn't end up being Percy coming to bring us to camp half-blood, but who knows? Maybe tomorrow my teacher will be "sick" again, and he'll bring us to camp. I can hope!
