The Light In The Dark

I looked in the mirror and transfigured into my mortal form. I had short brown hair with fire streaks. Blue eyes and a freckled dress. I probably looked like I was in my 20's. I had jeans, sneakers, a short sleeved red shirt and a long brown cloak. I put the hood over my head and went down to earth.

I landed softly on the busy streets of New York. No one even noticed (not that they would because of the mist) except a boy. He looked about 14 or 15. When he saw me he stared but after a second he bowed. "You must be a goddess! Oh wow! Um... please excuse me but, which goddess are you?" he stammered.

"I am Hestia." I replied

He breathed out. "Oh thank the gods! Well thank you to because your a goddess to so... yeah. So you're no going to shoot me down for asking that? Or talking right now... or..."

"No you're fine. Are you a demigod?"

"No a seer. The name's Lillian. I help demigods because unless you're a really important seer there isn't much you can do there."

He scratched the back of his neck. "Good for you. Can you direct me to camp half blood. I haven't been there much."

"Oh yes this way um... what should I call you."

"Just Hestia."

"Okay... Hestia, this way."

We walked across the street many people looked at me weird but I didn't really care. Mortals these days are so picky.

We finally arrived at camp half blood. "I have to go to something. The big house is over there."

Then Lillian ran off. I started walking over to the big house. There were many flowers leading up to the giant porch. The butterfly's who were sitting on them waved to me. I waved back and kept walking. I stepped onto the steps and walked in to see Chiron sitting on the couch. "Hello Chiron. I see your hearing has decreased."

He jumped but turned around calmly. "No. Just in deep thinking. How are you Hestia?"

I smiled as he got his big horse but off the couch. (It was specially made for him.) "I am good. I need a few requested demigods for a quest."

Chiron looked at me strangely. "You, of all the gods are sending demigods on a quest?"

"It's a matter that is very important and I'm coming with them."

"Oh really." Chiron smirked.

"Yes really. And to make it fair I will give myself the powers that my child would have- except a little more powerful."

"Huh. Well, who are the requested demigods?"

I took the piece of parchment paper out of my pocket. The words were written in the old version of Greek words, how the titan's would write. It made sense because that's probably the only language (beside's regular mortal languages) that Lutica knew."Ireese Melody, Pure Kat and Avery Laurence. Oh and there's also some seer that I wanted to bring along. His name was Lillian but I don't know his last name."

"Lillian! Wow Hestia. Congratulations. You get to go on a quest with the oddball's of camp half blood."
