The War is over, Time to get this summer started

1. Leo gets an annoying new sister

Leo Valdez sat on his bunk thinking of something he should be doing but not really remembering it. His eyebrows furrowed and he tried to think but it was pretty hard when Nyssa and Harley were having a huge argument which was way interesting than thinking. Leo's finger tapped random messages in Morse cord and even once tapped egg biscuit is fine.
"What am I supposed to be doing?" Leo asked. "Who knows?" Answered Pauline, a new cabin member. 13-year-old Pauline Ramme was born in The UK so, she was different. Like Leo, she was skinny and her hands looked like they couldn't hold a screw. Everyone was surprised when she was claimed by the god of fire. "It would be better if you did nothing." She continued. "You always mess things up or blow things up. Or usually both."
"Hey ram, I'll take that as a compliment." Leo answered back. Pauline frowned at her book apparently not enjoying being called ram. She rolled her eyes. "Go outside and do some push up if you have seriously nothing to do. You'll at least get a muscle when you are fifty then." "Hey, that's rude! Don't be a meanie to me The complete awesomeness oozing Valdez!" Pauline gave him a look. She turned her attention back to a little sack lying next to her. "What's in there?" Leo asked forgetting his important time thinking.
"None of your business." Her answer came a little too soon.
"Aw, come on! I'm your brother, you can tell me."
"Someone shoot me for being this matchstick's sister!"
Right on cue, Harley threw a wooden stick at Nyssa who easily dodged it and it flew hitting Pauline right on her shoulder. Leo doubled over laughing. "Ow!" Pauline complained. Harley marched away, glaring at Nyssa unaware of the huge damage that made Pauline complain with an ow. Pauline glared at Leo. "What? You asked for it."
"Is Leo there?" Piper poked her head into the cabin. "Oh he sure is there!" Nyssa grumbled and walked away to the other corner where metal chucks were lying on a table. Piper raised her eyebrow at Leo. He shrugged in reply. "Hey Pipes." "Hey. Look, can I look at the thing?"
"The what?"
"The thing. The thing, for heavens sake Leo! I told you two days ago."
"I don't even remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday."
"You ate a sandwich with pepperoni." Pauline offered. "Weird combination." Piper stared at her for a while unsure of what to make of the girl with a messy bun of blonde hair and green eyes like moss. Her clothes were weird enough. She wore an oversized camp half blood t shirt which would have fit Clarrise La Rue and a pair of black jeans that was too short for her. One of her sneakers were bright pink and the other was lime green. Who even does that? Piper blinked. "Um, hey Pauline." She finally said. Pauline gave her a toothy grin. "Nice feather" she said. Piper was wearing an eagle feather on her single plat. The eagle looked really nice with her hair color. "And nice shoes." Leo pointed at Pauline's feet.
" oh these? I just didn't know where the other one was and the weirdest thing is I'm not sure if I had green sneakers."
"Oh please! It's fine, Pauline Ramme, everyone wear two types of shoes these days!" Leo's loud reply came. Piper narrowed her multi colored eyes. "I think both of you should come outside." She finally suggested.
"Why?" Leo asked. Pauline was the first to reply. "To kill you and use you as a fashion doll so, she can try her outfits on you before she does herself. Of course, she'll have to upgrade you first, wouldn't you?" She directed her question to Piper. Piper giggled, "He'll look terrible in crop tops and shorts." "Oh Zeus." Pauline tugged her hair. "That's a mental images I could live without." Leo rolled his eyes and accidentally tripped over his own foot.
"Wow, you are clumsy." Pauline commented. "You should meet a Frank." Leo muttered. "Oh, Frank Zhang? I think he's amazing! Took two hundred monsters all by himself in...Italy? I don't know but, he even took lead and lead you into Epirus. He is pretty cool. No wonder he is praetor of The Twelfth Legion." "How did you know that?" Piper asked walking a few paces ahead of the two arguing siblings. "News travel fast. Especially when it's news about the war." "Ah." Piper nodded.
"Didn't you hear anything about me?" Leo injected. "Anything?" Pauline raised her eyebrow. Gears of dad, she's annoying, Leo thought. "Well, i heard you chocked eating a biscuit a couple of weeks ago, almost died in the lava climbing wall, tried to kick Jason but fell and had to stay in the infirmary for days, you also threw an apple at a Demeter-" "Okay! You heard enough!" Leo interrupoted.

Author's note

This story Is the continuation of the Heroes of Olympus series. Of course, I will be changing some things a bit, like, Leo is not with Calypso. He isn't dead or lost. He is back at CHB. Also, Katie and Connor are together in this book. I ship them a lot. Obviously, there will be many solangelo moments because they are one of my OTPs. Percebeth, Jiper , Frazel , will exist as well as other fandom ships. Wasn't that kinda obvious? I will also introduce new characters to the story when I need or is necessary.
All readers must read the whole series of Rick Riodan because my story is a full spoiler alert!
