Darkness

Uck, I could see a wink. With the rain, lightning, and thunder! I sighed as I rolled over and look at my companion, Ash. How could he sleep?! I bump him with my arm, till he looked at me. Up, let's go! I said throwing him both of his crutches. Did it rain? He said looking at his dipping jacket as he crawled out from behind the dumpster we slept behind. I glared at him, you didn't hear the storm!? I growled. No. He said nervously took a few hops back. I sighed as I walking to the corner of the ally we stayed in, the worst place we ever stayed but we had to. Well, good thing is, we're showered up now. He said coming to my side. I didn't sleep at all. I said, peeking around the corner. The cost was clear, so we walked down the street. I round a corner to go to a shop has the best food when a boy in a black shirt and brown jacket. Ooof! we both stumbled back as Ash caught me we both fell, his crouches on either side of us. The boy looked at us, watch where you're going! Sorry. Ash said stang. no, you just appeared so it's your fault! I said. Raven, let's just go! Ash said about to grab me. I moved my arm away as the boy and I locked eyes till I heard yelling. Damn, Raven, it's the shopkeeper! Ash said as he whimpered. He is the only boy I know who whimpers and cry. I sighed, this isn't over! I growled as we turned and ran. Back behind the dumpster! You need to work on letting things go and stop blaming other people. Ash said. I sighed, sometimes I miss having a home even if my mom was cruel and a terrible cook, I miss it. I said as tears trickled down my face as he held me close. I may know the perfect place but it's in New York. He said. Ok. I said sniffling as the bin was moved aside. We looked up to see the boy, standing there his arm across the skull. You mean Camp half-blood, don't you? He said. Ash looked embarrassed, I thought I said that quietly. Thanks, Ash. I muttered wiping my eyes crawling out then Ash did. Really, behind a dumpster. The boy said. He was three years old than us. I was raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia now we're are in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. What it took a lot to get there without or very little money, ok! Ok, what do you want?! I said folding my arms. I can help get there then that's it! The boy said. We're fine! I said. Ha-ha, may we talk about this! Ash said dragging me aside. I think we need help, Raven because it'll take forever the rate we're going! He whispered. We just meet him! I hissed! That's how the two of us meet! He said. Because of the reason, I saw myself in you, a poor kid who was alone I don't sense anything to him. I said. We're getting help! He hissed as he started back to where the boy stood. I groaned, joining them. Don't act like that, we'll take your help and will be happy about it! Ash said. You're too trusting, Ash hell you don't even know his name! I said. How rude of me, I'm Nico Di Angelo. He said. Oh, great his an angel! I muttered. How did you know that? Ash said. My dear Ma'ma was from Italy but came to America when I was three and I had to translate for her being that she was good at speaking English and I was a better speaker then she was until I was Nine! I said. Hu, why did you never tell me that before? Ash said. I looked up at him, you say that like I'm an open book. I slipped down my hood being that my hair clip was pulling my hair as we walked deeper into the Allaway. Ash jumped away, you have a skull hair clip! Nico and I looked at each other than I said why did you get surprised by that? I... I don't know. he said nervousness. Okay, this is pretty dark, give me your hand. Nico said, holding out his hand. I hesitated. Don't you want to go? He said. I was about to snap back, he was correct. I place my hand in his, what is he planning to do? I thought as we took three steps to a wall and shadows wrapped around us. We appeared at an alley. I felt dizzy, I leaned against him as I examined my surroundings. I was about to say what was that, another way to the next alley!? There was a poster, I walked to the poster, it was for a musical at the Town Hall in New York City! Turned to him, how did you do that?! We were like miles away from New York now were here! Just stay here, I'll be back with your friend. He said. If I don't. I said. I'm not looking for you and you'll be lost and alone! He said as I folded his arm then hopped up on a dumpster. I heard him mutter why did I do this?! Then disappeared into the wall once more hour or two later returning with Ash.He clasped, almost as green as the leaf of the tree across from Alley. Nico and I looked at him then at each other then I muttered an eye roll; why did I get stuck with the weakest boy on the planet!? I hopped down and said Ash, are you dead? He only groaned.Can you stand?! I said. Again I only got a groan. I sighed flipping up the lid on the trash and found two half-eaten hamburger. I set the first in his mouth, he perked up, sat up and eat. Really? Nico said as I eat, after picking out some onion and other stuff out. What, we did eat? I said. He sighed, strangely we kinda look alike, just a little. I thought as I finished. Let's go. Nico said. We totted after him. We walked down the street. I can't belive I'm back! Ash said
