Will of the Gods

The Prophecy

Once I got back downstairs Percy asked me, “So what did she say.” I told him the prophecy. He said that it was probably the next great prophecy!
All I managed to say was' "W-wait what"
"The next great prophecy dear," Chiron said. Just then Annabeth walked in.
“Did I miss something?” she asked
“What do you think of this?” Percy said reciting the prophecy.
“Well children of sea‘ obviously means children of Poseidon, and children of wisdom means children of Athena’ ‘sail to the bird’s nest’ probably means we have to sail to a queen's base of power. And ‘power of 5 travels together’ means 5 children of Athena and Poseidon at least two of each. And ‘blood shall rain from the ship of doom,’ probably means that there is going to be a bloody battle on a ship and finally ‘a choice to end all choices’ means someone is going to make a choice that will determine the fate of the world.”
“Well you got one step closer to outsmarting a prophecy, Wise Girl,” Percy said.
“Well do you know where I’m going?” I asked trying not to sound impressed.
“Owls nest probably means Athena’s favourite place or something,” Percy said.
“Probably Athens in Greece, Athens Georgia here in America,” Annabeth said,
“And, who are you bringing?” Annabeth asked, “you can bring 4 others.”
“Emma, Roger, and, I-I don’t know?” Suddenly there was a bunch of gasps from outside. We ran out to see what happen. Asa had been claimed by Athena! I ran up to him and asked if he wanted to go with me on my quest.
“I need another Athena child, wanna come?”
“Sure, why not,” Asa said. I couldn’t help but think about what was up and if we were going to survive.
“It’s okay, we’ll survive,” Asa said like he was reading my mind.
I didn’t answer. To break the awkward silents we bickered about which is better, cats or dogs. Then we parted to go to our cabins. I gave him a piece of paper with the prophecy written on it.
“Thanks,” he said and ran off to his cabin to pack, I did the same. We were going leaving tomorrow and we had to pack before it was dinner time or we would have to skip dinner. On normal cases like this, I would have skipped but it could be my last meal at camp… Unless we survived.

Notes

I left a camper out of the quest for a reason.
You will see later.
