Will of the Gods

My Horrid School

Hi! I’m Catherine and this is my crazy story involving singing water and talking trees. It was 7th grade when I met Asa. Asa was 12 and I was 11 (don’t ask) And my sister was a grade ahead of me, she was 13 (Agen don’t ask we will get to her later). Asa was a nice-looking guy with blond hair and grey eyes, and he was in ALL my classes. I met him during my first (and last) year at Rome Middle. It all started on that stupid field trip to the aquarium. It was the end of the year field trip with all the grades in the school 7-8 and we had just gotten off the bus with Asa when I heard something. It was like a muffled voice coming from the aquarium.
We entered the aquarium and were looking at some shark stuff. When I the voice again.
I started to freak out, so I asked my teacher Miss. Bass if I could go to the bathroom, I stammered a little, but she let me anyways. As I was leaving I heard Asa ask too I was scared, this definitely was not normal. I was excellent at not normal but this was different. When they finally caught up, I asked Asa what was going on.
“I'll explain later, we just need to get out of here as fast as possible,” he said kind of quietly.
“But why?”
“I told you I’ll explain later, now hurry up,” he said, breaking into a run.
“Is this about the voices?” I asked. He didn’t answer.
“Asa what’s happening,” I said, my voice wavering.
“I’ll tell you later, for now, here,” he said handing me a book.
“What’s this?” I asked him.
“Read it once we get a break,” he sounded scared.
But I believe different so instead of waiting to read I said, “there is always time for a book,” and opened the book.
“Athena?” he said to himself probably not aware I could hear him. As we traveled weaving in and out of streets, I started to question basil’s sanity, but I too felt like we were going to the right place. Finally, we stumbled into a large clearing that had a sign next to it. I thought it read
Camp Half-Blood.
