The Son of Chaos

Dreams for a demigod are usually horrible visions that will traumatize you for the rest of your natural life(not really). However, I recently have not dreamed at all. So this dream came as a shock to me. I was back in the Giant's cave that looked like the throne room on Mount Olympus. There was a face that protruded from the wall. It was a woman's face, so I assumed it was Gaea. "Hello, Perseus Jackson. So good of you to drop in. As you already know, my son Porphyrion already has you and your friends' blood, the Blood of Olympus. You are powerless to stop him. So why don't you join me, and you will be spared from the destruction that is about to ensue. Of course, the same can't be said for your friends", Gaea said without moving her lips, which is really creepy. "First, no. Second, how do you speak without moving your lips? It's real creepy",I said to the dirt face. "Such impudence!", Gaea exclaimed, "But you will join me. Be sure of that". Having said that, everything melted away, and my dream changed. I was on a beach. I looked around and I found a giant statue, that was the Athena Parthenos. It seemed that Reyna, Coach Hedge, and Nico all made it to Long Island safely. When I looked around, I did find Camp Half-Blood, so that was a good thing. But when I was looking through the camp, I saw something very disturbing. The campers had Reyna tied up and at sword point. I got closer, and it seemed that they were discussing whether they could trust Reyna or not. Rachel was trying to calm everyone down, but they wouldn't listen, until Hedge started whacking everyone, including Reyna, on the head until they were silent and listening to Rachel. As soon as Rachel started speaking, my dream changed. I was still on Long Island, I could feel it. However, I was with Octavian and his group. That was not good. The Romans are so close to Camp Half-Blood. They were driving along the highway to the beach and the forest that hid the camp. I had to wake up and get the message to camp. So I woke up, and I was staring into the face of a griffon. I was so startled, I screamed. That woke up the others. They got up, and asked me what happened. "Nothing," I said, "Just got startled". I looked at my surroundings, and the first thing I noticed was the iron bars. The griffon was on the other side of the bars. It looked like it was guarding the place. So, I have established the fact that me and my friends were in a jail. "Role call", I said. "Leo", "Here", "Hazel", "Here"... It went like that until I was sure that everyone was here. That was a bad thing. "Do any of you guys know what happened?", I called out. Leo responded "Well, last night, a bunch of griffons flocked the ship. They were all carrying these skeletal soldiers that went downstairs and kidnapped you guys. I was on the deck making adjustments to the Archimedes sphere when it happened. I don't know how you guys slept through that". I checked my pockets, and thankfully Riptide was still there. I uncapped it, then sliced at the bars. The blade bounced off and almost impaled me. "Oh yeah. The bars are made of Stygian Iron", Hazel called out. Would have been nice to know earlier. I tried to explode the bars open, but when I tried, my entire body was racked with pain. It seems that I was injected with liquid ambrosia. With no way out of this place, I slept on the bed in the room.
