CHAPTER IV

I felt an odd sense of calm as I plummeted through the void. I wasn't violently torn apart, which was good. But I didn't know how I was gonna get out. That was bad. I wondered if the void had a bottom, then I looked straight down. There was a blue and black floor painted with intricate designs. It looked strange. Then I noticed that it was getting closer. I was gonna become a pancake if I hit that floor! I had to do something to slow my fall. And fast. I racked my brain, thinking of how to get out of this mess. Then I has a wonderful idea. If I was in my dad's domain, shouldn't I be able to use my powers? I concentrated and suddenly stopped falling. I was flying! I quickly landed and looked around. There were no walls and no roof. When I looked up, all I cold see was a large red object in the shape of a person. I assumed it was Tartarus. I picked a random direction and walked that way for about ten minutes. I soon spotted a large set of double doors. I used my powers to summon a large burst of speed and reached the doors in about five seconds. The door was about twenty feet tall, and was blue. There was only one picture. It was a black sun. I didn't think much of it, and pushed open the doors.
