CHAPTER VI

I was shocked. Why would my dad want to teach me how to kill a god? What have the gods done to anger him? It made no sense."Dad" I asked,"why would I need to know this?"."You need to know this for a very important reason. I have seen your future. The gods will betray you, and you will seek vengeance. By doing so, you will die. I don't want to see you die,Percy" he said. Could my dad really change my fate? Was it possible? He seemed to read my mind, because he said,"Yes, I can change your fate, Percy. Unlike the other gods, I am not bound by the Ancient Laws. The Fates are my grand-daughters. They could not control me. So I am free to tell people their destiny, and help them change it"."What will happen that makes me seek vengeance on the gods?" I asked."That even I cannot see, my son. The only thing I can tell you is that it will happen during your fight with Gaea". Chaos looked at his watch."I'm afraid it is time for you to go, Percy. As one last favor, I shall transport you and your friends to the Doors of Death. Also, since you entered my domain, you can now use your powers anywhere in Tartarus. Now goodbye, my son. Close the Doors of Death, and stop that treacherous daughter of mine" Chaos said. I shook his hand and I vanished. The next thing I knew, I was standing next to Annabeth and Bob. Something else I noticed is that we're in the middle of a giant monster army. This was going to suck.
