Percy had dissapeared... that stupid seaweed brain let himself be taken away by some monsters and the whole camp is expecting me to save him. First I have to tell Sally while Chiron notifies Poseidon. I walked up to Sally's apartment and opened the door. "Mrs. Jackson?" I asked. I walked in and found Sally Jackson sitting on a couch watching Finding Nemo. Her face brightened up when she saw me.

"Hi Annabeth!" she said happily.

"I have some bad news," I whispered, her face lost any glimpse of happiness that was there.

"What happened? Is Percy alright?" she asked.

"That's just it, Percy isnt alright, he let some monsters take him away and no one has seen him since," I told her.

"What do you mean by let them take him?" she asked.

"They told him that if he went with them they would leave the camp alone so Percy went with them and now he's missing" I told her. She looked down with tears in her eyes.

"Percy's gone," she whispered, right when Paul walked in.

"What's the matter?" Paul asked.

"Percy is missing," I told him, tears were rolling down my face and Sally wrapped me in a hug.

"Oh my god!" Paul cried, pulling us both into a hug.

"It's alright, I doubt Poseidon will allow Percy to be missing for too long... after the eight months it just isnt going to happen," I encouraged, Sally smiled at me and I walked to the door waving goodbye.

Three Month's Later

We still havent found Percy and it's been three months, people look at me like it's my fault Percy was gone. I miss him so much and I just want my boyfriend back! "Annabeth?" Nico called, he had joined the search two months before.

"Yes Nico," I replied.

"It's our turn," he informed me. Every week a new search party would go out which meant that this week was our week to go searching.


"I had this amazing idea, how about we go out of state. What makes you think he's in New York?" I asked, Nico nodded his head.

"Good idea Annabeth, we'll go cross country shadow travel style" Nico said happily, he has been changing a lot. He jokes around a bit more but not that much.

"Cool, we'll go tomorrow," I said, Nico smiled his rare smile and walked out.

The Next Day

I woke up to my bed being shaken by my search group, or the only friends I have left. Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Nico, and Thalia. "Do we have to go so early?" I complained.

"Yes," Thalia said, I groaned and rolled out of my bed.

"Did you seriously sleep in your clothes?" Piper asked.

"Well, you guys always wake me up before i'm ready so I slept prepared," I explained, Piper rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers. I was dressed in a fresh camp half blood t-shirt. My hair was freshly curled and pulled back into a ponytail with fresh blue jeans and owl decorated Nike's. My Dagger was strapped to my side and it was polished. "Thanks," I said,

"Your welcome," she answered.

"Let's just go," Hazel said, we nodded and all linked hands. Nico shadow traveled up into New Jersey.

"Seriously... New Jersey? We could have driven here!" Jason whined.

"Would you have rather taken the bus, Grace?" Nico snapped.

"No," Jason admitted.

"Then quit your whining," Nico snapped. We wondered the streets for three days and did Delaware for two days. We went to Maryland for the remainder of the weekend and while we were in Harford county I saw a Auntie Em's

"Guys!" I warned, they all stopped and looked at me.

"That's Medusa's lair, but that cant be here! Auntie Em's was in New York! We went there on our first quest, we should check it out because Medusa was on of the monsters that kidnapped Percy," I said, they nodded and we walked inside Auntie Em's.

"Daughter of Athena," hissed a familiar voice.

"Medusa," I replied coldly.

"Come looking for the son of Poseidon?" she hissed.

"Possibly," I answered, I heard a laugh but it was more of a cackle.

"He is no longer the son of Poseidon my dear, he is no use to you now," Medusa hissed.

"What do you mean?" Nico demanded.

"Oh Son of Hades, you are very valuble along with the Jupiter boy and daughter or Zeus." Medusa hissed.

"Give us Percy!" I demanded.

"What if I said no?" she answered.

"Go to Tartarus!" I shrieked.

"You want something from me yet you treat me with such disrespect," Medusa hissed, I could hear her getting closer every second.

"Come out!" Hazel demanded.

"Boo," Medusa said and then I blacked out.
