Months after

OK, so I'm not one to brag, but, my life is pretty awesome. I got the girl of my dreams, I defeated not one, but TWO evil beings that threatened to destroy/enslave the world. I have a giant flying ship, the Argo II, that fires flaming bolts and explosives. And last, I get to eat the best blue cookies in the world.
But my mood was reversed when I learned that I still had to go to high school.
Of course, I have saved the world twice, killed countless monsters, and I've been around the world. I was even offered immortality! But still, school was my next quest.

I, Percy Jackson, sit in my kitchen, eating my mom's world famous blue cookies with Annabeth and Grover.
"So Percy, when are you going school shopping?" My mom asked, pulling more cookies from the oven.
There was an awkward silence before I could speak.
"Uh, mom, didn't we agree that I would stay at camp Half-Blood the whole year?" I said, my voice cracking.
At that, Annabeth giggled, but she was interested in her cookie as soon as I glared at her.
"Cmon Perce! It'll be fun!" Grover said, jumping up from his seat.
"Learning is fun! Not to mention Annabeth can help you with your homework late at night." Heover nudged me.
Annabeth blushed, saying "Percy, we'll go to school together! Is that not what you want?" She gave me puppy dog eyes, trying to convince me to at least be happy with going school. Sure, she was probably the only reason I even hesitated before trying to reject my mom's proposal.
"I'll be happy at school, but only if Annabeth will go on a date with me, tomorrow." I looked over at Annabeth, who was blushing.
"Is eight good, seaweed brain?" She said, hitting my shoulder playfully, but it still hurt.
"As long as he's home before eleven!" Grover mimicked my mom's voice, causing me to smile.
"Good job, Grover. Soon, you can learn to cook blue cookies!" I mocked, turning Annabeth.
"i'm all for eight o' clock." I said, putting my arm around her.
"it's a date."
