Months After

When I got home, I walked straight into the kitchen, opened the fridge, and drank milk out of the carton.
Of course, I almost spilled it all over my rented tux when my mom walked in and put her hand on my shoulder.
"Percy," She said calmly as I wipe my milk stache.
"Didn't we say eleven?" She said in a soothing voice.
"Mom, no we didn't. That was Grover."
"You still should have come home sooner. School starts soon!" She closed the fridge as I walked up stairs and mumbled "Sorry."
"You better be."

-A week later-

"You'r going to be late for school!" My mom yelled from downstairs.
I got up and went over to my closet, got an outfit, and took a quick shower.
I quickly ate my blue pancakes and grabbed my book bag. "By mom! Did Paul take his car?" I asked, hoping he didn't. I told Annabeth last night that I would pick her up.
"No, he walked today. Good luck! Key's are on the counter."

Annabeth was waiting on her door step, reading a book.
She looked up and smiled, putting the book away and getting in the car.
"Hey, Percy! Thanks for picking me up."
"Anything for my Wise girl." I smirked and kissed her as I pulled out of the driveway, and drove to school.

When we got there, everyone was doing there own business., which was perfectly fine with me.

That is, until I pulled into a parking spot.
We pulled into one of the only remaining spots, and when we got out of the car, I checked my surroundings.
Just some normal teenagers, and some teachers.
I turned to look over the car at Annabeth, who was being surrounded by a group of guys.
"Hey girl, what are you doing tonight? Because if your free, you can do me." The guy at the center of the group was giving high fives and fist bumps to his friends.
Annabeth tried to walk out of the circle, but she was just pushed back into the circle.
"Let me out." Annabeth said, with an edge to her voice.
"You still haven't answered me." The jock said, putting an arm around her.
I pushed a few people aside in the group, and pulled Annabeth out.
"Ignore them Annabeth. Just some idiot's."
I wanted to punch the one guy in the face, but I decided against it.
I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"And who do we have here? Does the blonde bitch have a big tough guy to protect her?" The guy said in a little girls voice.
"OK, look. I know it's a bit hard to understand, with your small brain and what not. But leave her alone. Or, you'll answer to me."
I said, pushing his hand off of me.
I started to walk away, but the kid turned me around, and punched me in the gut.
I looked at him, and He looked satisfied with what he had done.
I clutched my stomach (I lost the Achilles curse a few months ago).
"Next time, why don't you get someone who can actually protect you, not some scrawny little shit." He said to Annabeth.
I let go of my stomach, and balled my fist.

The guys jaw was about to fly off, but Annabeth grabbed my hand and started dragging me to the school.
"There is no point fighting, Percy."

Me and Annabeth had some classes together, but most of them, we were in different classes..

Classes were boring as usual, and I didn't really pay attention much.
But I did make a few friends.

Jake, Who has brown, long hair, who is a loner.
Brennan, who has blonde long hair, and is pretty scrawny.
John, brown medium length hair., and is pretty popular.
Dianna, who has black hair and a little emo.
and Haley, who has dirty blonde hair, and is a nerd.
(Really sorry. I suck at descriptions .)

Of course, I ran into Leo, Piper, Frank and Hazel. Jason is still at camp Jupiter, doing praetor stuff. But, according to Piper, Jason said he would pick her up every day.

After school, we ran into the same group we met in the morning.
"Wow, that’s your car, man?" He said, a grin on his face.
"Looks like it was squashed between two trucks!" Another guy said, pointing to, i'm guessing, his own truck.
"Whatever."
I drove Annabeth to her house, and when I got home, I went straight to bed.
