“Sucked In” Chapter 1 – Welcome to Cubieland!

“Ugh, what just happened?” Percy muttered. “I dunno, but- wait why are you a block person?” Annabeth asked. “What do you mean?” Percy asked, until he looked down at his hands, “This is by far one of my weirdest experiences as a half-blood...” Annabeth muttered, looking at a nearby blocky tree. “What is this place? What happened?” Percy asked. “WELCOME, annabeth3 and percyj3!” A booming voice shouted. “Annabeth three!? Where ARE we?” Annabeth looked around.

stevekillscreepers: Welcome to my minecraft server, Cubieland!

“Why am I hallucinating a message?” Percy asked. “I have no idea, but I see it too.” Annabeth looked alarmed.

stevekillscreepers: lol, i see u like RPing! Well i love RP!

“Yeah, would you mind leaving us alone for a second and not drop in on our private conversation.” Annabeth rolled her eyes.

stevekillscreepers: oh, u want to know how 2 use messages? go /msg before u say stuff

“Where is this guy anyway? It's like he's hiding behind a bush watching us.” Percy sighed.

stevekillscreepers: im just seeing ur messages pop up in the chat nothing more

“The chat? Oh gods, we're in a video game, aren't we?” Annabeth groaned.

stevekillscreepers: lol u guys r big nubs aren't u? we're in minecraft, dummies!
stevekillscreepers: wait, I gtg, enjoy the server while im gone!
stevekillscreepers has left the game

“Anyone else on?” Percy asked. No one replied. “Ok good, finally some privacy.” He said. “Wait, where's grover?” Annabeth asked. “I dunno, he must've gotten split up when the vortex sucked us in.” Percy looked around. “So, uh... what exactly should we do until this Steve dude comes back on?” Annabeth asked. “I think this is a game where you have to survive, y'know... build your own house and stuff.” Percy said, “Well how? We have stubs for hands, how are we supposed to pick things up?” Annabeth groaned. “I dunno, let's go look for somewhere to stay for the night.” Percy said, the two of them ran off in search of a place to stay.
After about an hour of walking Percy pointed to a village. They ran into it, Annabeth stepped inside a house to rest, but when she opened the door, standing there was one of the long-nosed, weird looking villagers. “What the underworld is that?” Percy asked when he stepped in the house. “I have no idea, but I get the feeling that it's supposed to be a person.” Annabeth muttered. “Um, we should probably not invade someone's house.” Percy said as the villager stared at him. “Why don't we-” Percy started to say, when a message popped up:

posiden10 joined the game
posiden10: oh hey, i see more people joined steves server.

“It's poseidon, not... whatever.” Percy said.

posiden10: yeah yeah whateves, wow it's surprising that you three didn't show up on the server count, it said there were no players on... weird

“Wait, three? Who else is on?” Annabeth asked.

posiden10: well there's annabeth3... percyj3... and grover3, you guys like the letter 3 don't you?

“Do you know where Grover is” Percy asked.

posiden10: no. im at spawn though, if i c him ill let u know
posiden10: wait, i gtg
posiden10 left the game

“Well, we'd better gear up and go find Grover...” Percy muttered. “Hey where's that person thing going?” He asked. They followed to testificate into a blacksmith shop. “Whoa, there's tons of stuff in this chest!” Percy said when he opened a chest, it had on iron sword, one iron ingot, three apples and a diamond pick. “Well, let's go find Grover.” Annabeth said and grabbed the pick. Than it started to rain, and thunder crackled. “Alright, let's go find Grover once it stops raining!” Percy muttered.
