Chapter 6 - Memories

Percy

"Right Télos, come with me to Olympus and we'll meet the others at Camp Half-Blood," said Choas. He opened a portal.

"See you guys later."

Chaos handed my a mask and said, "Wear this so they don't know who you are. It can only be removed by you or someone you have told your real identity to."

I smiled because I didn't want anyone to know who I was.

--To Olympus--

When we arrived the gods all looked the same as when I left and were having the usual arguments. Zeus was arguing with Poseidon saying that Air disasters are more spectacular than see disasters. Ares and Hephaestus were arguing over Aphrodite, while she looked bored and was applying more makeup. Athena and Ares were arguing over who was better at fighting. Apollo and Artemis were arguing over who was older. Hades (he got a throne and was made a major Olympian after the Second giant war) was talking to spirits. Dionysius was reading a wine magazine and looking bored and Hestia was tending the hearth. Hermes was trying to stop George and Martha from fighting. Hera and Demeter were having a rather non-interesting conversation about ceral.

Chaos cleared his throat.

Zeus looked up and shouted, "Why are you in my throne room. I will have you incinerated."

I couldn't help it, I burst out laughing. "Sorry but all ready done that."

Before the council had the time to register that, Chaos said, "I am Chaos creator of the universe and this is the Commander of my Army, Télos."

They all bowed and Athena asked me, "Why is your name End?"

I simply replied, "When I joined Chaos I swore it would be the end of my old life."

Zeus said, "Why are you here Chaos?"

"Because Tartarus and Gaea are raising and bringing the Titans with them and you will need my Commander and his luitenants help to bet them."

"No we don't," he replied, "we have fought them and won before."

"Before," Chaos said getting slightly annoyed at the gods, "you had Percy Jackson the greatest hero of all time." I couldn't help but blush, I hated when people said that.

"He was nothing," said Ares, "my son, James Burns, is ten times better. He showed us what Peruses Jackson really was, a coward and a traitor."

"You really don't know do you." Said Chaos in surprise.

"Know what." They all replied.

With that Chaos brought up a screen of mist. "Watch," he said, "the truth of Percy's life."

[what is happening on the screen is initalics, reactions are in normal]

A picture of me, aged about nine. I was asleep in bed when the door flew open and man stood there.

I shivered at the memory as I knew what was coming next.

He walked over to my bed and said, "Your mum has gone to work, so it is time for your lesson." My eyes opened in a second and I tried to run out pass him but he was blocking the way. Then he took of his belt and said, "Now stand at the door with your back to me like a good little boy." I obliged. He started to whip me with his belt. I tried not to scream as a knew it would only get worse if I did but the pain was to much and I couldn't help it.

I remember the pained like it was yesterday and I still have the scars on my back to prove it.

Once my back seemed to have my blood than flesh. He stopped and opened the door and shouted back to me, "Same time tomorrow kid, and I have got something new planned for then. Remember if you tell your mum, this will seem like a warm up. Now what do you say."
I tried not to cry as I said, "Thank you for the lesson Gabe." If I didn't say that he would repeat the whole thing then punch me until I blacked out. Then I got into bed shivering with fear and the blood soaked through the sheets.

Then screen went blank and all the gods looked shocked. Poseidon looked like he had aged 15 years in a few minutes. Chaos simple said, "He was broken before he got to you and you only make matters worse, now on to more recent events."

He showed my journey through Tartarus. Me saving James and him taking all the credit. James planting document in my cabin to make people think I was a traitor. James stealing stuff from my old friends and blaming it on me. James telling Annabitch that Percy had cheated on and her believing it without a second thought.

Then he showed something's that never happened

Me screening in a river of fire, my soul disintegrating in the Styx. Me trying to escape the Cocytus, with my family and Gabe laughing at me.

The gods looked horrified and said for Hades to find me immediately and send me to Elysium. He disappeared but returned in a few minutes later saying that I was no longer in the underworld. I tried not to laugh but I caught Athena staring at me like she knew who I was. She asked me, "Have you ever been to Earth before Télos?"

I replied truthfully as it would do me no harm. "I was born here, Athena," showing no respect as all the gods stepped forward, "but I was deemed an unworthy hero, so I haven't stepped foot on Earth for about 500 years."

The gods looked at me and said, "Who is your parent then, demigod?"

I laughed and said, "Chaos."

~~Flashback~~100 Chaos years ago~~

Chaos called me to his throne room just after I returned from my last mission. I sighed and said to my team, "Don't I ever get a break." They all laughed as they knew I would be complaining by tomorrow if we didn't have a quest.

I walked to the throne room and when I got there Chaos was pacing back and forth. He saw me and started to look even more nervous but calmed himself and said, "Télos, I would like to adopted you as my son."

I smiled and said, "Sure, you have always been a better father to me then Poseidon even way."

He looked over the moon.

~~Flashback Over~~

All the gods looked at Chaos in shocked, then Athena managed to say, "You sired a mortal child. That is against the ancient laws."

Chaos shot back angrily, "Don't you think I know the ancient laws, I wrote them." He calmed down and said, "By blood Télos is not my son but I adopted him when his real father left him to rot," with this he stared at Poseidon.

After a few tense minutes I stepped in and said, "My luitenants will be arriving at Camp in five minutes. Can you tell the camp so they don't think it is an attack. I can't be bother to fight two wars at once."

The gods looked at me in surprise as Hermes vanished to tell the Camp. When he reappeared he was out of breath and gasped, "Camp .... under attack." I looked at Chaos he created a portal and I ran into it, thinking nearly on Earth for an hour and I already have to save them.
