Fire and Ice

Calypso woke with a start, she was in a bed that she didn't recognise. She stood up and looked in a mirror that was hung against the wall. She was dressed in a plain pair of grey jeans and a blue hoodie. She felt too hot so she pulled the hoodie off over her head. Underneath she wore a pale green shirt. She saw a pair of white socks and trainers next to the bed, so she sat down and placed them on. The door was just across the room from her and she walked out onto the ship hallway. Scared of who she might find, she went to go back inside the room. However, before she did, she heard a faint mumbling from the door at the end of the hall. Calypso walked towards it, careful to keep quiet. As she got there, she opened the door just a bit to see who was there. It was Annabeth.
Annabeth was chained up to the celling. She had chains on her two wrists, both ankles and one loosely around her neck. Calypso ran forward to help but someone grabbed her wrist. Calypso turned around, quick as a whip. She saw the person who had grabbed her, and she suddenly felt faint. It was Leo.
Leo smiled at her, "Hello, don't have your little friend helping you now." He said, pointing at Annabeth, "She helped you last night, but tonight, your mine."
He laughed menacingly and slapped her hard across the face. She tried to let out a scream, but Leo held her mouth shut. He wasn't himself. Calypso made a break for it. She kicked Leo in the crotch and ran to Annabeth.
"Go," she said, "Leave me, go and get Percy or Jason."
Calypso nodded and ran out the door, slamming it behind her. She ran through the halls shouting, "Percy, Jason, help!"
She ran out onto the front deck. It was dark but there was someone standing by the dragons head. She shouted out "Help!"
The boy turned around, it was Percy.
"P-Percy, it's Leo, he's gone mad. He-he's got Annabeth."
Percy made a sound that was like a growl and uncapped riptide, "Where is he?"
Calypso pointed and Percy made a dash. Before he could get through the door of the deck, however, Leo smashed through the door holding Annabeth by the neck.
"You let her go right now!" Percy shouted through the wind.
"No, but try and get her." Leo taunted.
Percy went to go but Calypso took his wrist and shook her head. She walked towards Leo and spoke quietly, making sure not to say something that would upset him.
"Leo, listen to me. Why are you doing this. Please, just stop. Come back to me." She reached out her hand a for a second Leo seemed to wake up, then he shook his head. He seemed to be in war with himself. Percy saw the confusion and made a grab for Annabeth. Leo couldn't keep his grip on her and Percy dragged her inside, locking the door and leaving Calypso and Leo alone on the deck.
"Calypso," Leo murmured, "I can't hold of for long. There is someone controlling my body, I can't...AHH!" He squirmed and fell to the floor twitching.
"Leo!" She shouted.
She ran towards him but before she could get there he shook his head and twitched once more. Calypso had to help, she ran towards him and held his hand. However, before she could say anything, the door burst open and Piper, in a pink onesie, ran to Calypso and pulled her away from Leo.
Using her charm speak, Piper said, "Whoever you are in my friends body, leave and stay off of our ship."
By the time she had finished her last word, Leo's body twisted and jerked. Then nothing. Leo's eyes remained closed but his chest still rose and fell to a steady beat. Calypso pulled herself from Piper's grip and rushed over to Leo. He was as pale as snow and his lips were blue. Calypso leant down and kissed him. He shot up quick as a bullet. The colour returned to his face and he looked at Calypso.
"W-what happened. The last thing I remember was...I'm so sorry for anything that I may have done."
Calypso smiled and hugged him, wrapping her arms around him and smiling into his shoulder. She hoped that whatever or who ever was controlling him before had disappeared for good. Leo smiled too, he was happy and with the girl he loved, what more was there to ask for.
