Fire and Ice

It had been 3 days since Calypso's fight with Amie. She lay in the infirmary at camp half blood. Leo visited her every day, to find that she hadn't woken up. Will Solace had been washing her wound with warm water each day and kept some ambrosia on the side of her bed for when she woke. At 3:30 in the morning, with Will sitting at the side of the bed on a pop up stool, Calypso woke. She opened her eyes and looked across at Will. He saw that she had woke up and offered the ambrosia to her. She nibbled it delicately and looked at the ceiling. She wanted Leo here, but she also didn't want to worry him with how bad she felt. She felt like her heart was being ripped from her body and thrown into the depths of the ocean. Calypso looked down at her stomach where the blade had pierced it. It felt like it was on fire. There was smoke around the wound, and a black dust on the edges.
"How are you feeling?" Will asked.
"Not sure." She responded.
"The blade didn't cut deep so it should heal soon."
Calypso nodded. "When can I see Leo?"
"I'll call for him in the morning. You need to get to sleep."
She nodded and closed her eyes. When she opened them, she was on a white beach, the one she had been visiting every time she closed her eyes since she left Ogygia. It was empty except for her and one other. The person who she wished could disappear forever, but who kept coming back. Her father. The titan Atlas.
"Well, if it isn't my foolish daughter Calypso." Atlas spoke with distaste, as if he was disappointed of her.
"Why do you bring me here every night father? Why do you speak to me."
"This is where I live, and where you shall rule by my side once you claim you destiny. Where we shall sacrifice your pathetic boyfriend's to become unstoppable."
"Over my dead body."
"Well, there is that part. We also need a girl sacrifice, preferably one who is in love with the other." Atlas smiled with malice.
"No!" Calypso shouted.
