The Proposal
Nico sat on the wooden bench towards the back. His boyfriend Will sat next to him holding his hand.
The music started and the bride made her way up the isle. Her wavy blond hair was piled on top of her head and a white veil covered her stormy grey eyes. She made her way towards the front on her fathers arm. The groom waited for her in the front his usually unruly black hair was tamed and brushed out of his sea green eyes.
Nico felt a slight twinge in his chest as he realized his first crush was now officially off the market. He felt Will squeeze his hand and the twinge vanished. he and Will had been together for three years now. Nico had cleared the air and confessed his feelings to Percy three years ago when he realized that would be the only way he could move on with Will
As Percy and Annabeth were announced husband and wife he felt Will's hand leave his. Disappointment filled his heart as Will fidgeted next to him.
When Nico looked up Will was holding a small black velvet box. Gingerly Nico took the small box and opened it. Inside were two rings, one gold and one black. Nico looked up at Will seeing the silent question in his eyes.
"Yes" Nico said
Will smiled brightly talking the golden ring and sliding it on Nico's left hand ring finger. Nico took the black ring and did the same to Will.
As the crowd rose in applause for the new husband and wife Will and Nico did too. Will slipped the now empty box back in his pocket.
Will was literally glowing with happiness, his Death Boy had just agreed to be his forever.
