Just letting you know, putting the F-word in the first chapter and rating it PG, doesn't make sense to me.
@Utterly_dysfunctional
Exactly! I mean, only SOME demigods have dyslexia and they can only read it. In the books, Annabeth had Ancient Greek lessions with Percy so he could speak it. Demigods can't just start speaking Ancient Greek! Percy had LESSONS! And not even all demigods can even read it without dyslexia.

Ha! It's fine, don't worry :). I think I would do the same if I met a monster to be honest, or I would hide in fear. Thinking about it now it would most probably be the latter that I would do! Eira is similar to you. She has mild dylexia and only the tiniest trace of ADHD. Seriously, she's a flop when it comes to fighting. Youll find out why she doesn't have these things as strong as normal demigods later on in the story. ;) And I completely understand what you mean by demigods being pretty chill with monsters and all. I'm reading a fanfic about Hera's daughter and she is just so cool with it all. She just fought a monster while Grover, Annabeth and Percy were there. She then woke up in her cabin like "wow this is all real. This is cool." And is excellent at everything. She's fluent in Ancient Greek and gets all the answers right >.< Me thinks we have a Mary Sue on our hands. That's one of the main reasons I wanted Eira to different. She's a quirky personal with little sense of Logic. She has watched too much TV and read too many books for her own good! It's given her ideas. I mean if we woke up in a strange place without any recollection of where we were then we would probably explore and go take something with us for protection. Thus Eira thinks she has been kidnapped.

Don't worry, Hun, you've got a lot coming your way within the next week or so ;)
Man this is amazing! It's accurately realistic! I mean, in most stories the demigod's meet a monster and are chill. If I met a monster I'd crap myself, then beat the Hades out of them. Ya know? Oops, sorry I have ADHD. Thankfully, no dyslexia. I do have glasses, but I don't think that counts... ugh, here I go again.
Anyway, GOOD JOB!! YOU ROCK!
Great job ;)
