I know it gets pretty discouraging when you get negative comments or no comments at all, but I write for me not everyone who reads it (although that's a nice bonus). So thank you for addressing such an important subject @SadieKane

"Learn to love the fool in you, the one who feels too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries.
It alone protects you against that utterly self-controlled , masterful tyrant whom you also harbor and who would rob you of human aliveness, humility, and dignity but for your fool."
-Theodore Isaac Rubin

There was one story I heard that occurred a while back that really relates to this.
There was a middle school age boy who stayed after school and was cleaning out his locker. There was a football player that had also stayed after school. He saw the kid in the hallway. The kid dropped one of his books.The football player went and picked it up for him. He also helped the kid carry his books the rest of the way. They chatted for a while and soon they both went home. The football player went away not thinking much about it. Later, it was discovered that the kid had been planning to commit suicide and was cleaning out his locker to return his things. The small act of kindness showed the kid that there were nice people in life. He didn't commit suicide and became a successful business man and best friends with the football player.

I think you should try to talk to your friends. I did and they've helped me SO much. It turns out most all of them are depressed and we've even started writing a book about it to show people that they don't know about what people go through. Well, based on these past two chapters and some of the comments, I'd really appreciate it if you guys would help with the book. If you have an email that supports google docs email me at america7340usa@gmail.com . If you don't, try to message me on here. Please and thank you.

Thank you. :)
@Abused Angel
Thank you. I hope that these kids will get better. Every deserves to know that they do matter. I hope to help them, though if I was going to talk about this that means I have to talk about this to a lot of people and my BFFs. Scary.

I'm surrounded by sucidal kids, depressed and hiding behind a smile. A kid at my school was killed a few years ago, my best friends cut and try to kill themselves. Great, you made me open up. *sigh* Anyway, I think it's good your highlighting depression, because almost everyone I meet wants to die or kill themselves. I even fell into the void myself, because of past expirence. But I'm still holding on, for people like you, who still care. For my fandoms. For life. God bless you.

This is a serious matter! I'm glad someone else cares. I have had suicidal thoughts, but they went away. For those who go through with these thoughts, may god be with you.

I hope things get better for you and your friend. I know what you are going through all too well. I myself am depressed and one of my best friends has almost committed suicide multiple times. The best way to help her is to talk to her and listen to her. If she knows she can trust you she'll start telling you more. It may break your heart at first to know what she goes through, but it'll make both of you stronger. For me, a few songs have reminded me to keep strong: "Gold" by Britt Nicole, "Headphones" by Britt Nicole, "Lost get Found" by Britt Nicole,"Let her go" by Passenger, and "I Believe" by Christina Perri.
