That is part of her allure, she is so different from Percy (normal). I SAID SMART BUT NOT ANNABETH SMART. By self doubt I meant always thinking she is the problem and working to "fix it", so Percy kind of has to help her with that. Also, you asked me to make a character, not a story. I am going to leave the reasons and ending to you. Percy also kind of saved the world from a godly war as a new camper (book one). Plus when does happily ever after ever happen on this website?? It was just a way to end it. This is also a very stupid debate, do whatever the fuck you want and don't waste your time arguing with a reader, this is a good story. Don't let my input mess it up K?

There are some issues though.

1. Annabeth is possibly the smartest daughter of Athena, so Haley CANNOT be that smart(not making Haley another Athenian)
2. Percy and co. are already in Camp, so she cant be part of the army, unless she joins after they get to camp
3. Elaborate on "accident in battle, is rejected by her godly parent"(not sure if I want daughter of Apollo)
4. If she has severe self doubt, it would take Percy and Haley a long ass time to have a relationship anywhere near what he had with Annabeth
5. If Hal is just a new recruit, no way in juice would Percy allow her to fight Gaea and Tartarus
6. I also never said just how powerful Percy is now, so a fight against both Gaea and Tart could potentially be bad
7. Aint no "happily ever after" up in dis bitch

I like your enthusiasm, and the name Haley Carter(taking out the first y), but you kinda didnt think this through too much. Nice try doe. I also don't want brown eyes. Too common :p

Make her a brunette, deep brown eyes, smart but so smart that she reminds him of Annabeth.
I'm thinking daughter of Apollo. But you can do whatever you want. Good with weapons, came from an orphanage, (mom killed in car crash). Had zero friends in the mortal world (always felt different). Has severe self doubt. Has an accident in battle and is rejected by her father, joins chaos' army. Her and Percy have a better relationship then he did with Annabeth, but he has to help her because of said self doubt. They fight together against Gaea and Tartarus, she is severly wounded and goes into a coma, Percy feels responsible and gets mad at everything and has suicidal thoughts. Annabeth learns Percy's identity and gets really pissed. Tells the gods and Chaos shows them what truly happened. Annabeth feels guilty and wants to get back together with Percy, he declines. The girl gets better and they live happily ever after.

Do Percy with a new camper (that is his age!!) That way you can engineer her in a way you think will further the story and compliment Percy.

Percy falls in love with a Goddess (your choice who) and Annabeth gets jealous and doesn't talk to Percy anymore.
Ethan and Bianca fall in love.
