I get into it with shark men
Pain coursed theough my body, as the shark men attacked me left and right. To it off, riptide, my trusty broad sword wasn't yet done with its minutely getaway into the deepest part of ocean. Nawing on my legs the shark men, held me off, as I focused my attention towards Annabeth and Chrysaor. The water would heal me and keep me from dying, besides this was all for show. I could easily, destroy the dock, and sweep Chrysaor and his sharkman hybrid monsters away into the atlantic ocean if I really wanted to.
Calmy Annabeth slashed Chrysaor's face. I was amazed. I mean, I knew Annabeth was great in swordsmenship, her mother is the goddess of battle strategy and wisdom. But from what I could see, I always thought that I was better. Now I was proven wrong. She easily held her own against Chrysaor, who had bested me not once but twice now. In a quick, slice, Annabeth winced in pain. My eyes filed with shock as I saw her plummit to the ground. Fear raced in me. I could feel my heartbeat climbing up my throat. Slowly my sadness seized. But adreniline plagued right in. In an race of rage, I rose my hands as the entire ocean wanged in my hands. Slowly, I arced my arms as the water rose into a typhoon. Rage that was all that fueled me. I couldn't let Annabeth die. I couldn't let her die. She was my everything. My life. She had my heart and I wasn't going to let her die on my watch. Swiftly, I pulled the shark men off my limbs as I rose into the sky. Amazed, Chrysaor gazed at me unaware of what was happening. He had never seen a child of Poseidin, with this much power. And more or less the guts to challenge him.
"You sure are a royal pain. Percy. You may have escaped, Kronos and Gaea and even Tartarus, but you won't escape the monsters! You're a hero and you will die a hero. By the hands of a monster. It's typical to hope for your death to come more naturally since your namesake gives it all." Chrysaor smiled.
Forging a trident out of water, Percy smiled. "Chrysaor, you remind me a lot of a friend of mine. He was a talkitive one, just like you. He was great at swordsmenship, but in the end even I matched him. And I now thank you for all your help. You helped me realize one important thing. But not just me, you also helped Annabeth realize, that she is better than me in swordsmenship." With a quick throw, I throw the trident and summoned the water to a halt. Disrupting it into a million peices, Chrysaoe fell to the dock, soaked and distrought. Pipping and weezing, he sighed.
"You will parish, Perseus Jackson, you will parish!" Chrysaor cried. Stepping onto the dock, I smiled. "Not today." Taking a quick look at Annabeth I noticed, she was already nursing the wound. She smeared some nectar over the wound, took a bite of ambrosia and tried hard not to think about it.
Smiling, I looked at her amazed. "You know, Chrysaor was right, Annabeth you're way better than me." Gazing up at me, she held a faint smile. "I know, but I don't think I would be this amazing with you seaweed brain." Taking a calm breath, she rose up and held onto my arms. Leaning in she gave me a kiss. It was sweet and child-like.
"Come on, lets get a move on." I said. "Next stop, California. Hey maybe we could visit your dad, while we're out there?" Glancing at me, she smiled.
"Maybe."
