After making it through Pensylvania, we found our way to a hotel. I decided it would best to rest a while, since I still had a cut on my stomach. After paying the clerk for a room, Percy and I headed up to our floor. For some reason, he decided to carry me in and lay me down. Gazing into his sea green eyes I smiled. My heat began to rev up, almost like I wasn't in control of it.

Smiling, he escimo kissed me. "You know, we could?" He leaned in for a kiss, I gave him it. Soon after, my stomach began burning. The pain ached, as he layed on top of me. Slowly, I shoved him off and pointed at his bag. "Get me my laptop!" I ordered, he rose, picked up his bag and pulled out the laptop. It was crispy clean and looked almost like a normal laptop. But inside were almost all the designs that Daedalus had made throughout his lifetime. Quickly putting in my password, I looked up deadly poisons, on the laptop search. I came across thousands, but then I realized, Chrysaor didn't poisoned me. He used a substance that slowed down the healing process.

Gazing at Percy, I rose my eyes in shock. "Chrysaor, didn't just cut me. He used a poison to slow down the healinf properties of ambrosia and nectar." I glanced back at the laptop, trying to find out information on the substances he used. Nothing. Nothing came up, but what scared me the most, was the side effects. Slowly my stomach felt like it was in a pinch. Then it changed from a pinch to burning. It was like the side effects wouldn't go away. Percy cuddled in, trying see what I was looking for.

"What can I do, to make sure you're ok?" He asked. I smiled, placing the laptop on the table next to me. His sea green eyes still held that gaze almost like he was waiting. Waiting for that day, when he would fall. "Percy, I'm fine, all I need is some rest. After I get some sleep, we could head on out of here and make our way towards California." Smiling, I nested my head on the pillow. Percy cuddled in closer, as we both slowly drifted into the demigod old nightmare.

In my dream, I was at the Mount Diablo, racing away from five earthborn. Percy was currently, in the distance fighting off some man-like being. I couldn't make it out but it seriously radiated power. Closing in on them, I turned and drew my dagger. With a quick backlash, I sliced through the first earthborn. I could see everything. I noticed this wasn't going to be easy. Quickly I danced around slicing down the earthborn.

Frantically trying to catch her breath, her turned to notice the one thing she hadn't completely gotten over of. A spider. Creeping back, she noticed a trail of them directly from where Percy and the mysterious man where.Surprised, the spiders, began to crawl on her. Silently, the stalked their pray, tyen struck completely consuming me. In a shreik cry, I awoke. I was now swetting terribly and my heart beated upon my chest. Awakening, Percy rubbed his eyes, and quickly placed his hand underneath his pillow. He had a habbit of stashing his pen there. "What?! What happened?!" He screamed.

Shivering I took a deep breath. "Spiders. There were many spiders. All of them." I murmured Comfortly, he hugged me trying to calm me down. I slowly began to feel calm as I nested my neck in his callor bone. Smiling, I gave him a kiss on the lips. He had deserved it. He was always around when ever I got scared. For the rest of the moment, I just held him. Calmly taking in his sea breeze fragrance.
