"Sorry my child but you will not interfere!" Ares says and waves his hands knocking emma against the cage
"Emma!" I yell and push harder against his sword with my knife.
"Sam Duck!" I hear Sienna yell And push ares sword out of the way and jump to the side as a Boulder launches in ares face.
"Eat boulder ares!" Seinna yells I look over and Alex had built a make shift catapult made out of what she could find (Meaning a bench and some litter)
"YAHHH!!" I hear ares coming with the broad sword again and this time I bring out my sword and hold up his sword with my knife and stab him in the gut with my sword and just like that he backs off
"You have bested me for now" He says and I hear Sienna yell
"Don't look!" I look away as a bright light envelopes the area. But then I hear a scream
"Emma!!!" I yell after the light disappears I run over to her and pick her up she is smoking and unconscious A hand rests on my shoulder I look up to see my mother kneeling down by her
"I can help" She places a hand on emma's forehead and emma's eyes flutter open
"Hey sam" she says and I sob a little
"The effects are only temporary but there is a chance for her to survive but she must make a choice " Enyo waves her hand and Artemis the goddess of the hunt appears and looks at emma
"Emma sense your death would not be from a battle but from your fathers carelessness I can save you but first you must make a choice you can choose to spend your last minutes knowing that you will die or you can become a follower of Artemis" Emma looks at me and I nod encouragingly emma looks at Artemis
"I will become a hunter of Artemis"
Artemis nods and helps emma say the vows, And a silver light envelopes emma and when It clears emma has a silver circlet around her head
"You may train at camp half blood if you like but first we must return to the hunters." Artemis says and emma looks at me and waves
"Goodbye sam!" And she disappears with Artemis
Enyo looks at me sympathetically
"We must return to camp I will give you a ride" she waves her hand and we are standing in front of the campfire which goes silent watching us
"I owe this child my life, My troubling Brother has always been jealous of my children, He has killed many of them and wrongfully claimed more. I will grant each of my rescuers one reasonable gift" Enyo says looking at the four that are left Lily steps up and asks for a salve that will heal almost any wound and enyo gives her a small glass bottle with a cover that has a rope tied to it, Lily puts it around her neck
Then Alexa ever modest just asks for a chunk of celestial bronze. Enyo smiles and hands her a bag full of it. Finally sienna Simply asks for a blessing from Enyo , Enyo smiles and places a hand on her head. While sienna is begin blessed I think what would I want? a sword? have that, I don't want weapons. I was still thinking when Enyo turns to me a
"And my daughter who barely had a day of training before coming to my aid I have a speacial gift for you" enyo smiles warmly and waves her hand over me and an almost All the way black border collie appears at my feet
"her name is Shadow and she will be able to telepathy with only you, and as a bonus she is Fully trained." Enyo says smiling "Goodbye Chiron and Goodbye Sam" With that My mother disappears in the flames of the campfire.
